Akaash and his past are one of the most intriguing aspects of the show for me. I am keen to know how he will overcome Gaurav's death and move forward with his life and career. His acrophobia might not have been as interesting a facet as it is if one of his first assignments to resurrect his career didn't require him to climb a mountain. So far whenever he has encountered the heights in his training, they have been under controlled environment. But today, it was a place where there were no guides, no teachers, no harnesses. A cliff, a man hanging for dear life itself and his three friends who themselves were having panic attacks. I don't know whether or not he would've been able to save Kabir without Arjun's help, but he made it quite far without getting those flashes. With this step forward, I hope it will be easier for him to seek the treatment he left in between before joining NIM.

Speaking of Arjun, we don't know much about him yet except he once left a teammate behind to get to his goal. His theory is that beyond a point, everyone is on their own. I am not a mountaineer neither do I know anyone who is so I don't know how right or wrong he is here. But knowing that he didn't try his best to save someone does haunt him even though that's what he thought was the best at that time. Today, he went back for Akaash. I know he wasn't in a hurry to get anywhere but considering he didn't know about the Kabir situation, it wasn't really necessary to go looking for Akaash either. Yet, he thought of checking up when considerable time passed. So I do see this as a small step towards him learning to work in a team. As Col. Abhiyanker said, 'no one gets left behind'.

Arjun is orphan from orphanage...
N wen he left his friend ...he thought practically ..
That even if he help him they had very less oxygen n are at top of mountain ..so his friend has more chance that he would die ...
So he left him saying u r alone at top of mountain ...which are actually lines of his teacher who came to meet him
The teacher said that arjun used to sell tea n snacks to mountaineers ..
Which shows he has grown up near mountains ...
...
He doesn't know it was right or wrong but the thing that he left his friend alone not even trying to save him ..it haunts him n he has guilt too ...
He has no one to guide him too ..
He has painful past ...
He is mysterious n his past is mystery ..
His past is the reason for him to be like this today ...
...
He has bond with akash .. N he cares for akash ..
That's why he came to looking for him n helped him too ...
In future we will get their friendship bond getting stronger ...
..
N akash is also overcoming the fear ..first anjali helped him ..
N then arjun came to help him

This is defo a step forward!!!
Yes Akash might overcome his fear soon and he myt b out of the guilt too and those haunting dreams myt stop...
But arjun to overcome his dreadful past it will be a bit slow I guess...
He actually doesn't noe what he is feeling he doesn't noe what he Did was right or wrong...
At that moment it was right but now it seems its wrong...
He is in a guilt that he shouldn't have thought from his mind but he is not sure about it...
He has a horrible past it's painful
He wishes if some was there to guide him to show the difference
It will surely take time
And I think maybe by helping others he can come over it...

^Exactly. Arjun has never had that kind of guidance but I think NIM did get to him a bit in that sense. I am not judging him leaving his teammate behind because it is not my place. But right or wrong, it haunts him which means he somewhere does feel guilty and that he could've probably done more.
As for Akaash, I think part of the problem might be that he never felt necessary to deal with the acrophobia in this past year. But now that he is forced to face his fear, he might be able to overcome it with some help. I think he has made quite a progress even without a professional. But as far as Gaurav's death goes, I can't predict how long it will take for him to get over that. It's different for everyone and I surely don't think that even if he had saved Kabir all on his own, that would've magically made his guilt lesser.

Very well written.. It's a complete sigh from both sides in helping out or slowly moving inside leaving their past behind bars and facing it.. I loved it how he came at a perfect time in rescuing Kabir.. There are many more episodes to go far Arjun slow and steady process which is most likely to be done.. When this man undergone such a dreadful life without any of family members or loved ones..but it's a matter of time he needs to come out from his shell.. I felt very sad for Akash when his tears are on edge.. I'm just hope such sort of scenes during expedition too..
