Seriously. Rani Revolver was alright. I'm not sure why she's on pedestals of other actors. I liked her in that movie with Shiney.

She was really good in 'Who Lame.' But I found Queen nothing out of the ordinary. Coincidentally the movies for which she deserves praise, she never gets it. But movies like Queen & Tanu weds Manu which are above average gets over hyped like anything.

she's actually better than many.. While she can do normal roles, she's very good at playing depressed, complex, intense, hysterical(mentally fragile) or difficult characters.. I like her, her acting can emotionally exhaust a person(personal feeling)! Actually, she deserves better standings than many actresses.

Maybe overhyped? But I think the reason is she's come back with good performances which IMO were lacking in her previous films, she was amazing in Queen.

No, she isn't overrated btw. Just look at the top actresses like Katrina and Deepika.

Kangna is miles ahead of them.

I don't think anyone can pull off neurotic/mentally unstable characters as well as Kangana does. In the previous generation I think Urmila and Manisha Koirala did an outstanding job with those sort of roles but no one in the new generation can do them without looking like they're trying way too hard except Kangana.

I don't think she's overrated she's much better than a lot of top actresses of today.

However..I do think her performance in Queen was over hyped. I liked her in it..but she got way more praise than she deserved I think. So I kind of see your point..but as an actress alone I don't think she's overrated..but I also don't think she's the best actress in Bollywood either. I think heroine oriented roles/films get way over hyped these days..and actresses get way more praise then they deserve just because they were part of a heroine oriented role.

She didn't really get any appreciation for Revolver Rani by the way. She might have got it from critics..but not the audience!

She is a good actress who never got her due, that is the reason Queen was so widely celebrated and I think it was justified. I am rooting for her.
