Tannu blurted out that the MMS has not been leaked. She seemed to care that Abhi was distraught over the fact that he might lose his name and fame if the Press got wind of the MMS. In spite of the sidelong evil glances at Pragya, Tannu for once showed she cared for Abhi.

Abhi on the other hand proved what double standards he has, hugging and holding his girlfriend close in his own bedroom is completely kosher while he rants and raves at Pragya for a crime she has not committed. I think Tannu and he deserve each other. If Pragya had any sense she would give him the divorce and walk out a free bird. I was quite disgusted by Abhi's behavior on more than one count today - 1) the way he was concerned about his livelihood and name and fame while his daadi lay sick 2) the way he hugged Tannu without a thought that what he was doing was wrong. He has his girlfriend live in his house, he gallivants with her all the time but he is allowed to do that, what is food for the gander is not food for the goose, sadly.

Abhi's double standad's is just a reflection of society today.. the fact that women are held to more stringent standards is well known.
See abhi's excuse.. he feels that he is better just because he flaunts Tanu openly whIle Pragya is berated for the same kind of mistake. Pragya also sheds tears at abhi's rant and his need for his image in the name of 'Ghar ka maryada, . Where does this maryada go when abhi flaunts his extra marital affair? But the truth is that abhi's affair would be taken lightly... the playboy rock star and his affairs are news but if the same thing happens wit his wife then he becomes the man whose wife strays and it hurts his ego... it is just that.

To add to this we have people like Aliya, tanu and the rest who fan this already inflated ego.. as long as we take it for granted that men have more privileges than women in the way they are, there will always be these double standards. And when the time comes Pragya will forgive and forget. . She will be called the ideal wife. And her reasons will resemble what girls are told many times, men will be men.. 🥱

As for tanu, her faults will lead her to be berated as the culprit by everyone including abhi who will flaunt Pragya to her just like he flaunts Tanu to Pragya now.. tanu wI'll be the vilain and witch.

I do not quite think that Tannu can be redeemed but she certainly seems a shade more human compared to Ms. Aliya.
Wish Ms. Pragya had a backbone and would tell Abhi to go fly a kite... He could do what he likes, believe what he wants but if he maligns her she will tell dadi his truth and that the whole marraige was a plot. Alas, she has lost her brain cells. If she had any at all...

Tabu redeemed! Aaliyah caught! Mithali purified! I don't care!
I just want Abhi to weep, sob, cry, wail bitterly . I have never seen a weaker hero...
That brought out such a feeling of disgust. For this reaction from audience , I give credit to CVs and of course the male lead.

The worst thing that can happen is when pragya forgives him. Am watching this show to see her growth level as a thinking women ( at the moment she is a baby who cannot defend herself!) .
If she forgives him , I quit. As a strong independent, married women I am proud of my womanhood and of all the women around me standing tall in this society, and I would be highly disappointed when the baby refuses to grow.

And the worst thing is when dadi holds her back... For in her, I hope to see deep understanding of Pragys need and NOT her grandsons happiness,

However much I strongly criticize the show and its drag ,drag, drag , I do find it intriguing... A little
Unrealistic though. No one is that evil or that stupid or that good.
