Ruqaiya to drug Salim in Zee TV's Jodha Akbar

25 Nov 2014 01:54 PM | TellychakkarTeam

The return of Jodha (Paridhi Sharma) and Akbar's (Rajat Tokas) son Salim (Ayaan Zubair Rehmani) to the palace on Zee TV's Jodha Akbar (Balaji Telefilms) calls for a celebration.

As seen last, Salim was asked to stay in a small cottage away from place on having accidentally hurt a kid in the kingdom. His punishment will come to an end now and he will make his way back home.

On the occasion of his return Jodha will ask the renowned musician of the kingdom Tansen (Vijay Badlani) to play a song. However, a lot of drama will also play out midst the celebration.

As per a reliable source, Ruqaiya (Lavina Tandon) will drug Salim, something that Salima (Manisha Yadav) will witness and reach Akbar's court to inform him about the same. But Akbar will ask Salima to get back to him later as he will be too engrossed in Tansen's music.

The queen will not stop at this and try telling Jodha about the same but she too will pay no heed to her. Thus, soon after the song Salima will reveal Ruqaiya's drug act. But Ruqaiya will turn the tables at Salima and she will be imprisoned.

When contacted Vijay he said, "Tansen will be playing a four and a half minute long song that will have a dramatic backdrop with a lot happening in the kingdom during the celebration."
