Ohh! If I only knew the 3 minutes of IshRa today are probably the last we'd be watching in a long, long time. Now, since the drama has started and will only to continue to get worse, I'd rather highlight the bits and pieces of happiness in bullet points, and then go over to the sob story.
Happy Highlights:
1. Ishita, being, finally affected by Raman's taadoing and coming over to ask him directly whether he was actually tadofying his ex-wife. Finally, the CVs have paid attention to our rants and made Ishita appear and behave like a normal wife. ufff! Raman just took my heart away, with the sheepish grin, the husky undertones spouting out blunt truths in a manner no Shakespeare could match "iss poore party mein aaj sabse zyada acchi tum lag rahi ho..and I mean it..."haye...main marr gayee yeh sun ke!
And the way Ishita melted, like solid butter turning into creamy stuff...she looked so, so genuine..and sooo positively affected by that statement!! Nice one, CVs
2.
3.
There are none. No other happy highlight. Toshi ji's snarky comments made for a fun bit for the character itself, and maybe Bhalla ji and the Iyers, but it didnt make me laugh one bit!! In fact, it was ironical she said "kahin dulha mandap chhodke bhaag toh nahin gaya"...turns out, dulha almost bhagofied from the mandap..heck, worse than that, he got dirty in the honeymoon suite right above the mandap :P
Now, to the sob story:
Everybody behaved the way they were supposed to behave, excepting Raman. Shagun ranted off into space and blamed Mihika, the home wrecker while sparing her "mera Ashok". Ishita (kudos to her, she didnt change sides) vehemently defended her sister, despite the scenic visuals played out before her. Raman was...unusually quiet through it all...Why did he not utter a word? I didnt like it one bit. I mean, even he was witness to Ashok;s cheapness, and was forewarned by Ishita much, much earlier. For all his bravado and the fire-spitting, he was shockingly..soo quiet..
Mihir...oh god, my heart went out to him..he was crying like a baby..so hurt, so shocked, so angry..yet believing in Mihika. I wonder, will it be the same if at all, he gets to see the video?
Ashok - the supreme lech. Am nt surprised. At all. Obviously he would say these things. I wonder what wil happen if he ever shows the video. Am sure he's got an inkling that Mihika was trying to frame him, via the camera-recording business.
PARAM - THE ASS. I am amused at how smooth, slimy, effortless he is. He doesnt need to even lift a finger and then "aag lag jati hai". I hate his guts, but I cant help admiring the accuracy Anurag has brought to the character of Param. I can never, ever imagine anybody else as Param. I want him to be punched in the face, get beaten black and blue, bleed from every possible part of his body, but not get replaced by anybody else.
And finally, hamari pyaari Mihika - Tthe god awful sight of her sprawled 'naked' on the bed was amazing in the way it affected us all. She had been slipped a pill and lost her consciousness. Good, she seemed to still play her part.
But I'd say - Mihika single-handedly ruined it for everyone. For Shagun, Raman-Ishita, Mihir, herself, everybody. I hope no woman ever sets out on such dangerous, fatalistic missions destined to fail.
I hate her and cannot at all sympathize with her. Feel like slapping her for her sheer stupidity. How ridiculous!
