Fawad is really overrated here. People even predicted Khoobsurat will have double digit opening due to his fans lol. And it opened worse than DEI. Can't take IF seriously due to things like this. Its so disconnected from real world sometimes.

and yeah Fawad's first film in bollywood did better than RK's first film in here, if u just wanto to compare it in that way, otherwise i have said it Fawad is a newbie here whereas RK is a decade old now.

I disagree. Fawad is known 'cos of his soaps which were telecatsed here. That doesn't translate directly to BW success. He's no way near any of the newbies be it in terms of BO or projects in hand. Every one had better debut than RK including Tushar Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi etc. So you can compare that way, but still directors like Prakash Jha offered him Raajneeti before the release of Saawariya.

Is that such a big deal for the scion of the Kapoor family in an industry which is as nepotistic as BW? Kapoors and Bachchans are right at the top pyramid. Even Alia probably had to struggle more than Ranbir.
Anyways on Fawad...he is just starting out. So he is nowhere near other newbies...forget Ranbir who is far ahead of all his contemporaries and juniors.

Tushar, RK and Vivek they are starkids, so them being offered something before entry in bollywood isnt something a great achievement .. Fawad is a completely outsider, and he is solely offered good roles just at his debut becos his talent has been well recieved ..

Outsiders like John have survived for many years without much acting talent based on good looks as well. Let's wait and see whether Fawad can establish himself in BW. 😉And that's not what I meant. You said Fawad's film did better than RK's debut. That's well known. Many have had successful debuts and are still nowhere to be seen. Whole filmography matters.
