Yes, the TRP's have dropped and I hope they go down even more so that BT and Creatives wake up from dreamland and make positive, believable changes to the plot.

This is what happens when viewers are taken for granted.

Nobody wants to see a child being fed opium, a smart and sensible shehenshah making an irrational judgement about his nine year old son's punishment for a freak accident, a fiery, fearless rajvanshi queen who so far voiced her opinions on both political and family matters, suddenly turning brainless, compliant and submissive and most importantly the childless chief consort of the Mughal emperor constantly indulging in wicked, despicable deeds.

Agreed, the plot cannot always move smoothly, showcasing only positivity. However, the negativity incorporated into the storyline has to be done tastefully too. The atrocities committed by a member of nobility, the chief queen, are completely unacceptable and unbearable.
