He knows that Basu will not refuse because he wants help in elections. He knows if he refused then rift would cause secrets of both exposed.
He can of course break the marriage when he wants. Or maybe control Basu throughout like a samdhi the way Dayal controls Goenkas.
But by announcing it to media and not even consulting Kangana or Sakshi he played with their feelings. Kangana knows nothing. What will she feel when she realises that her BF and father used her for their plans?
Durga fought with Sakshi over Karan and Kangana. But she is forgetting who is the mastermind besides Sakshi. Her not focusing on him is wrong.
Sakshi is right in figuring out something fishy in Akram matter. She was right in taunting Durga in rape matter too after all Durga had professed true love for Shaurya! I wonder why Suchitra does not ask same question on Durga's behaviour?

Same for Basu who just wants to win election and does not bother about relations or his son.
Shaurya has been told he was attacked on a certain nerve by martial art experts. I bet he will now think Durga did it. Her changed behaviour after marriage will also make him connect dots and realise he was used.

Durga and her allies need to be careful and focus on all enemies than just quarrel with Sakshi.
