I would cast:

Siddhart Malhotra or Aditya Roy Kapoor as Nick

Jacqueline Fernandez as Amy as I would like to see her doing a negative role

Varun Dhawan as Desi

I feel these 3 actors would suit the main roles.

So if Bollywood made Gone Girl, who would you cast and why? 😊

Ajay Devgn- Ben Affleck's role

Vidya Balan- Rosamund Pike's role

Nawazuddin Siddiqui- Tyler Perry's role

The younger generation is too young to play this role IMO.

Rather tailor made for the 35+ set (male & Female) IMO and it is played thus in the original too so.

Nick - Though the most obvious choice is Saif, Aamir, SRK, Ajay, even Hrithik, I would like to have Sallu play the role of a lazy husband in a failing marriage.

Amy - Kajol, Ash, Juhi, Rani, Madhuri, Lolo. Could be a great comeback role for any of them.

Desi - Hooda. Can't think of anyone else.

If wishes were wings though, this could be my perfect long awaited SRK/Kajol reunion movie. So there is that..😛

The guy could be anyone. The actress too can be anyone but since bebo played that mysterious character in Talaash very well I would say Bebo.

The actors aren't important to be honest, Gone Girl is by David Fincher one of the best directors in HW! Don't think any BW director can pull it off!

I agree with all your choices aside from Kajol.

Amy was a stunningly beautiful, manipulative,upper-crust charmer of a woman who also, had the traits associated with conventional Scorpions. The kind of woman who had such layers to her personality, that, it made people who didn't know her particularly well but thought that they did, think she was a simple, almost uni-dimensional person.

WHO BETTER THAN AISHWARIYA RAI?!

Hooda,would be perfect as Nick. He reeks of Nick.

Desi-Rahul Khanna. No-one else. ❤️
