So here are my 3 main observations about Zeenat-Sahir marriage based on flashbacks shown today ...
First Observation ... Happy Marriage .. Sahir is Madly in love with his wife ... But is Zeenat too in love with him ?
Ok so as per my first observation its clear that Sahir was head over heels in love with Zeenat like any normal loyal fun loving husband π³ .. He loved pampering her with costly gifts like cars and the way right after gifting her a car , he starts making love to her π , its clear that he was madly in love with his wife π€
But I dint get the same feel from Zeenat too .. All I saw was her eye glittered up when Sahir gifts her the car keys .. In short she looked a bit materialistic to me because a loving and caring wife might tell him why waste money on car just for me , we already hv many cars for both of us but instead she quickly accepts the car keys .. It looked as if love came with a price tag for her .. So did she marry Sahir because he was Sahir Azim Choudhary or was she too genuinely in love with Sahir the person π€
Second Observation ... The Promise
So Sahir promised something to Zeenat but is yet to fulfill it .. He was waiting for her get back to senses all these years and now when finally doctor gave him the good news about her recovery , he wants to fulfill the promise ... hmm interesting ... But what was the promise here that he made to Zeenat π€ ...
While making the promise , I saw a serious Sahir out there promising something to his wife by cuping her face with his hand thus showing determination while Zeenat was giving a smirk as if she got another victory over her husband by making him promise something π€ ...
Sahir mother Alvira was a bit worked up too with the thought of Sahir still wanting to fulfill that promise ... So what was the promise ... Was it second marriage of Sahir because they had no kids ?? π€ .. Oh well it could b a parallel to Aarzoo's life whose father married second time for a son and here Sahir might do the same with Aarzoo for a kid ... But point to b noted here is its more of Zeenat's wish here .. So she is the one forcing her wishes on Sahir ... Again a slefish trait if thats what the promise is which I m fearing π€
Third Observation ... Why Sahir was not happy after doctor's call ?? π€
So when Sahir went to console Aarzoo after lashing out at her , suddenly doctor's call came which is symbolic to how SaAz's story will always b hindered with Sahir's past and then doctor gives him the good news about his wife's recovery signs ... After hearing this news , as a loving husband Sahir should hv been elated that finally his wife is coming back to her senses after 7 yrs .. He should hv been smiling out there with joy and excitement but instead I saw disappointment on his face as if he is thinking its a wrong timing ..
Sahir who in flashbacks looked as if he is head over heels in love with his wife was actually not happy when the doctor gave him good news about his wife on phone .. Why ?? Is it because his heart has fallen for Aarzoo and so somewhere he dont want to return back to his 7 yr old past because mayb he has fallen out of love with Zeenat over the yrs or is it because there is something else in his past which we dunno yet , like the theory of Zeenat cheating on him which mayb he found out after she went in coma ? π€ .. But again if these r the reasons then why he wants to fulfill her promise even today π ... Also it looked as if he was more of fulfilling his duty mechanically than expressing his love for his wife while talking about promise fulfillment .. I dint see the love of a husband there but more of a desperation to get done with the promise ... errr π€
So based on my above observations about Zeenat-Sahir angle , I can clearly say the past is just not limited to a happy marriage followed by a dreadful accident .. There is much more to his past which is yet to come out ... Why will Alvira still want to hook up Aarzoo with Sahir even when she came to know that Zeenat is recovering and her son is still very much loyal to his wife π... There is something fishy about the marriage for sure .. Either Alivra knows Zeenat is not a good character lady while Sahir is unaware about it or Sahir too may know about Zeenat's character but he still wants to b a loyal husband and hoping things will change after she comes out of coma π€

Now coming to my most favourite part of the Episode and that is SaAz
One thing is for sure , Sahir has fallen in love with Aarzoo and its not just mere attraction .. The only question here is what made him fall for Aarzoo .. Is it just her innocence and unpretentious fun-loving and gutsy nature which reminded him the way he used to b in his past and so he could connect to her π³ or is it like Aarzoo is more of Zeenat's replica , I mean similar in nature and so somewhere he is trying to search for Zeenat in Aarzoo after 7 long years of loneliness π€ ...
Somewhere I dont think Aarzoo and Zeenat have same nature from whatever I saw in flashbacks .. Though very little was shown but Zeenat looked totally different from Aarzoo .. She looked rather materialistic to me ..So I dont think Sahir is searching Zeenat in Aarzoo and why will he ? He always have the option to go and meet Zeenat every thursday and sit in front of her full night watching her which he always does for last 7 yrs , so in his mind he is still connected to Zeenat by meeting her every jumme ki raat like he told his mother .. So he will not go around searching for his wife inanother woman for sure when his wife is still very much in front of his eyes π€
So I feel he has fallen for Aarzoo because of her nature .. Its her innocence and inner beauty which has attracted Sahir towards Aarzoo .. He is reliving his own past in Aarzoo because he used to b similar like Aarzoo , spontaneous , daringbaaz and fun loving just like Aarzoo and thats where he feels the instant connection with her π³
So before jumping in the pool , he could not stop thinking about Aarzoo and the hug but after falling in the pool , he almost forces his mind to remember his wife Zeenat and the accident that happened with her just to make sure Aarzoo's memories stop haunting him .. So while Aarzoo's memories comes naturally in his mind , Zeenat's memories come only when he forces or punishes himself for it π€ ...
Sahir stands with his back against the pool and then stretches both his arms while falling in the pool which was symbolic to how he wanted to go backwards in his past by breaking away from the blissful hug that happened in his present and so as soon as he falls into the water , he breaks away from his hug with Aarzoo and goes into his past where it was Zeenat in his arms .. So this way he forcibly programs his mind to think only about his past and not let this beautiful present take over his past memories ππ
So just when he programmed himself with Zeenat's memories , Aarzoo comes to her room and once again he feels handicapped with his growing affection towards her π³ ; He avoids looking at her and asks her to get out but she is confused wondering how can someone hv problems with a mere thank you π ; Finally he had to look at her and thats when he looses himself again π³ ; His actions and words go the opposite ways from here on ; He keeps telling her to get out while moving forward towards her and going to the extent of pinning her up against the wall and locking her fully between his hands and body and then asks her to leave .. errr ππ ; SaAz hv mastered themselves in eye-talks now from the jungle night π and so Aarzoo tries to tells her with her eye gestures that you have just locked me up with your hands dude , how m I suppose to leave .. huhh π but Sahir was in no mood to listen to what her eyes say because his eyes were clearly desiring her and wanting to make love to her that moment though his words were contradicting it ππ .. I wonder if it was his love for Aarzoo or the 7 yrs of drought and loneliness that he went through and so seeing Aarzoo , all his hormones automatically charged up π€£π€£ .. But on a serious note I felt it was a dilemma between his heart and mind .. Heart wanted Aarzoo to remain with him forever , to not let her go away from him π³ whereas mind was forcing him to stay away from her before she takes over his mind too ππ³ .. Finally he realised that he only is not letting her go π and so he unlocks his hand and finally she leaves all shocked .. Sahir still wonders why is he committing this sin of falling for another woman .. In his mind I m sure he sees it as sin yet he is unable to stop himself from doing so
Next comes the Dinner scene and once again we see a lonely Sahir sitting all alone with noone to give him company ... So he starts imagining Aarzoo again bringing dinner for him and feeding him lovingly with her hands while he like a little baby eating it in full glory with moist eyes awww π³ .. In this scene it looked as if Sahir desperately needs a companion with whom he can share his emotions ... He feels lonely and so in Aarzoo , he has started seeing a soulmate or a companion who understands his pain and emotions and so he too loves her company π³ .. Its quite natural for any man to feel lonely after a certain age if for some reason he remains unmarried or divorced or such rare cases where his wife has gone into coma for 7 long years and since then he has remained loyal and never even compromised for his biological needs ..So when such a man suddenly starts seeing a companion or a soulmate in someone , its natural to hallucinate about her and imagine a fairytale life with her which is what Sahir is doing π³
Notice how in his dream , he is not having burnt toast and coffee but instead having a full coarse meal which Aarzoo feeds him lovingly ... So the dream sort of expresses his inner wish .. He too secretly wishes and desires for a normal happy life with someone who can serve him normal delicious meal and can spend some quality time with him π³ ..
I loved the talk between SaAz in the dream sequence which again indicates Sahir's inner dilemma as he questions Aarzoo indirectly if its a sin that she is slowly making a place in his life ( Mere wajood pe cha rahee hoo .. U r becoming a part of my existence) π³ ; And then in his dream itself he makes Aarzoo convince him that if a moon's reflection falls on water , blame goes on both , so same way if she is becoming a part of his existence , then he too is making a place in her heart π³ ; Hearing this Sahir again tells Aarzoo , almost pleads her actually that how its not good that slowly she is becoming his Addiction(Aadat) which is more difficult to give away than giving up his own life π but Aarzoo again consoles him telling that if the addiction is good and positive , then no need to give up and now he should leave everything on God and destiny π³ ; If Destiny is making you addicted to me , then there must b some reason for it , so dont go against your destiny ππ³ In short Sahir in his dream wanted to believe that he alone is not comitting this beautiful sin of falling for Aarzoo but Aarzoo too wants to commit the same sin and will make him feel good about it π³ ...
But his dream comes crashing down when Aarzoo brings jala hua toast for him instead of that delicious meal he just dreamt off πππ ; He got extremely frustrated here because for split second he felt Aarzoo that he saw in his dream has let him down by bringing these burnt toasts for him and once again reminding him about his bitter past which he wanted to forget for that one moment and just live in present with Aarzoo but instead she just brings my present in front of me on a platter for dinner ; He even told her in frustration that u know why I hv these burnt toasts and then lets it go which means he wanted to tell her that I really dont enjoy having this kind of meal but I have it to punish myself everyday by having these burnt toasts but today for a change I was dreaming of my blissful future with you but you just broke my dream by bringing out my dreadful past on a platter π ...He was more angry at her for breaking his dream by bringing that burnt toast rather than her presense over there .. ..
After that whatever he told Aarzoo about how her tears dont affect him were just damage control to make sure Aarzoo does not end up reading his eyes which she is expert these days ππ... Again his words contradicted his actions the way he kept grabbing her arms tightly while telling her to go away .. tch tch Sahir πππ

On the other hand poor Aarzoo is totally confused about his mood swings and feels shattered later on with the thought of Sahir and his sudden rudeness towards her π .. Sahir as usual cant see her in tears and so despite all his dilemma he goes towards her to console her when once again past comes knockng at his doorstep and rest is history .. This is where I see disappointment in his face after hearing his wife is recoverving and I wonder why π€...He was more happy dreaming of Aarzoo feeding him than hearing the news of Zeenat's recovery .. Why ?? π .. If he is just attracted towards Aarzoo for his own loneliness then he should forget all about Aarzoo and go running to meet Zeenat , his wife , who is recovering finally after 7 yrs . ..Isn't it because now he is no more lonely to feel for another woman .. hai na π€ .. Thats why like I said above , there is something more to all this which is yet to come out ...If he was still in love with his wife , then no way he will develop such strong feelings for another woman .. So half of the story surrounding his past is yet to unfold and I will say bring it on π
Overall another episode par excellence ... Harshad-Shivya have amazing on-screen chemistry and I m glad 4 Lions have finally got into the element now and are dishing out some classic Episodes one after another πππ
