Aishwarya brings a smile on 100 kids, sponsors their surgeries

Mumbai: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who has represented India on many occasions at global platforms also has a side not known to many. She has been involved in a lot of social work from the time she was crown Miss World in 1994. To mark its 20th year today, she has decided to celebrate it with children of a city hospital. She is also bringing along her father Krishnaraj Rai,who turns a year older on November 20, to spend time with the kids.

A friend of the actress told DC that Aishwarya has extended financial to support 100 kids to facilitate their cleft surgeries. She started this activity last month and has been constantly monitoring all the cases.

Aishwarya's spokesperson says, "Yes, Aishwarya has pledged her support by sponsoring surgeries of 100 children with cleft to mark the 20th anniversary of her winning the Miss World pageant and its also the eve of her fathers 76th birthday and the her daughter's Aaradhya's 3rd birthday through her foundation 'The Aishwarya Rai Foundation' and she will also be meeting around 50-60 children to celebrate the day."

She is extremely happy to be able to contribute and bring smile on their faces. The parents of the kids are glad to find support from the actress.
