Well, I believe we have all had crushes at some point or another in our life. How about we share the earliest memory of our first crush since the show Kayamath is all about childhood love? I will start:
When I was about six or seven, there was this cute little macho wanna-be boy who I used to follow around everywhere. And I mean...everywhere! He used to always get irritated by me because he was five years older than me and thought himself "too cool."
Anyway, from God knows only where, I got the courage in my child's heart to tell him that I like him. You know what he said? He said, "Mai tumhe pakad ke bohut marunga agar dubara aisi baat sochi bhi hai!" What a way to scare a girl off, right! But I was too lovesick for over a year to pay notice and then he moved away, breaking my little heart. Imagine my surprise then when I met him again more than a decade later only to have his mother reminisce with a chuckle at my expense, "Tumhe yaad ke tum uske kaise peeche bhaga karti thi. Woh tumse kitna chidd ta tha." I had wished at the moment that a gaping hole in the earth emerge and swallow me up. I had been so E-M-B-A-R-R-A-S-E-D!
