The GREAT MANIK baba woke up late that day...apparently he'd slept like a baby once he got rid of his LICE saaga,he dressed up in a hurry, ended up wearing a neon green tee...blinding anyone and everyone coming in direct contact of him,at least he wasn't flowery anymore ,he thought he looked Grass-ier errr...classier now...hoping his little bunny wouldn't wrinkle her nose and hop away ,
as he got into his car...a certain "yo yo" seemed to be mocking him crooning from his radio
"isse kehte hai hip -hop ,hip -hop"
he wanted to shout that his bunny had been doing just that since...since that un-fateful day...
"I'll always shine for you"
arre its a good thing to shine!! but its beeen 18 months and I m starving!!!
he wanted to shout!!
how come no one ever declare "famine" already?
he'd had enough of the giraffe -bunny chase
and enough of the LICE games

now he was even deprived of HIS Precious cakes and brownies...coz Nandini threw a belan the next time he tried his CHARMIN SWEET talk into providing him brownies...
she said she'd still not gotten over his "labor phase" whatever that meant!!
plus Nandu's STD theory which had felt sooo damn hilarious back then came tearing him apart and shattering him completely , what was wrong with him?
She finally surface ,his lil bunny, looking all pretty except a scowl that shouted
Manik Malhotra once a fashion disaster ,always a fashion designer...
she laughed right at his face calling him a "Grass-Hopper"
was it a "hopping " day today?
everyone and everything seemed to be " hopping " around lately!!
including some mice in his stomach and some in his...errr..never mind!
whatever happened to all those touchy ,feely days???
when he finally tried confronting his lady about the latest dry spell...
when Cabir who had been strolling nearby started hummming the song...
tip -tip barsa #PaNi...

and that was enough for lil bunny to suddenly grew wings and flew away into the rain...
soaked and dancing her heart away...
oh yeah!!
