I think if there's one female character that has really stayed with me it's Aisha from Wake Up Sid. She was ambitious, she had goals she was working towards to achieving, she was independent and she KNEW what she wanted. Even when it came to a partner in life - she told Sid she wanted a man not a boy. She was simple, free-spirited and very sincere and I look up to those kind of people :)

And the best thing is she evolved throughout the film, she was a strong character right from the start but throughout her journey not only with Sid but also from living in Mumbai independently, there was beautiful character growth, her soft side was shown, she realized it was okay to act childish once in a while, she became a little more uninhibited.

She's a very memorable and empowering character for me.
