Poor performance of kill/dil. Is Parineeti finished? - Page 3

First people hype an actor and then the actor gives a few likewarm films people say they are finished! Parineeti just needs to pick films with characters that are different than before & do another film with Arjun since the pair clicked last time!

Shaitan: yes Alia! The girl is good I like her. But two films I saw and in both she played the characters in the same way. At this point she is uninhibited on screen and fits the characters. We are yet to see her range & I rem Meryl Streep being mentioned once! Lol!

No..not yet. She is not making wise choices bas.

I don't know about finished but glad that she's giving herself and more importantly the public a break ! God I can't stand her on and offscreen!

Onscreen: same bubbly character, expressions etc

offscreen: full of contradictory woman empowerment statements, she's an outspoken brat who takes her weight insecurities out on sonakshi through demeaning remarks!

The problem is the media and some people on this forum overhyped her! She did 2 good films and suddenly she was touted to be the next Madhuri.

The same thing is happening with Alia - way too overhyped and overpromoted and then if she does one bad movie the bubbles will burst and then people will call her a failure

The truth is that there is a learning curve and process to become a top actress. No one has been a top actress right off the bat - in fact Almost ALL of our Top actresses have gone through a bad phase where they were written off - Karishma, Rani, Kareena, Kajol, Deepika, Priyanka, Ash, Vidya... all of these girls have gone through the struggle phase- and this is a phase that has possibly just begun for Parineeti.

it took Deepika almost 7 years to get to the top a - same with Vidya. Nothing comes easy the main thing is people need to stop putting the new girls on such high pedestals

She needs to reinvent herself, FAST. Stop working with YRF. She has no new films and won't be on screen for atleast 10 months which is bad news.

She is not finished she can bounce back as she is talented but she's def not in the same position she was during Ishaqzaade days when everyone was hailing her as the next best thing. Part of it has to do with Alia being praised and giving hits for her films and Shraddha giving hits.

Why do we have 'Is this person finished' threads after every movie like clockwork in the forum almost every weekend 😆
