I stopped watching the serial after the HH death fiasco when Jalal blamed Jodha for Husseins death but still like to visit the forum so eventually read the comments on the episodes. And after reading (and posting some myself) the seveal posts of how unhappy many of us are about so much Ruku glorification, a thought crossed my mind about CV's adoration for Jaan begum.
Would they have been so in love with Ruku if Smiley Suri would have been playing the role instead of Lavina in the serial? Does that adoration come to the character itself or the actress playing the role? Even though I like Lavina, I'm sure that me, as well as many others here dropped the serial also because of the Ruku glorification, making her almost the lead character instead of Jodha.
I read somewhere that she has a relationship with someone big in the show. That may be a reason. Another is that I believe that somehow Paridhi has fallen from grace within the "big heads" of the show. I'm not familiar with the Indian serials insights but this is the only reasonable explanation I can think of after seeing how the "alleged" lead has been butchered, humiliated, poorly portrayed (bad makeup, bad costuming, bad scripting), sidelined and relegated to a second position in a show where she was hired to play the main female character.
Maybe I'm wrong but I wonder if Smiley would have continued in the serial what the actual outcome would have been... hope no one feels offended, is only my perception. I'm also sad and angry that my favorite show became so much degraded that made many of us abandoned it... 😭😭😭
