Hide and Seek

This is just my rambling about my feelings when I watched today's beautiful episode. It was impossible to choose a song today since there were such brilliant options, with some guidance I went with Bade Ache Lagte Hain (title track from the show not the movie Balika Vadhu). Again I think it suits Ishra so well, I am almost tempted to request one of our creative members here to make a VM of Ishra on this.
Dheere dheere haule haule,
Chupke se ab hoga..
Kehte hain yeah pyaar jise hum,
Na jaane kab hoga..
Bade acche lagte hain..
Yeah mausam, yeah baatein, yeah uljhan aur tum...
It is a known fact love enters our life when least expected, Ishita and Raman had given up on their life and had made peace with a loveless marriage for the sake of Ruhi but love has no master so it did what free love does best, it entered Ishtra's life to create a beautiful havoc to replace their mundane daily existence. Love free of a master also isn't a slave of time, so it strolled on it's own pace and took it's own time before knocking on Ishita and Raman's life. When their journey began, Raman couldn't stand a sight of his wife, she was a thorn in his eyes that he had to endure for the sake of his daughter. He hated seeing her in his room, he hated sharing his closet with her, he hated the sight of her so he gave her a corner of his room where she was expected to live her life. Today when love has entered puttar's life he stands at the edge of the very room he once conquered as a man humbled by love admiring his beautiful wife as she paces around the entire length and breath of their room, long gone are the days where Ishita stayed in a small corner of a loveless room, now she roams around as an empress across his heart and their love filled room.
Kuch jaana kuch anjaana sa,
Mujhko woh ab laage..
Saari raina sapna banke,
Woh aankhon mein jaage..
Natkhat natkhat yeah pal mere,
Man ko chooye gungunaaye..
Mere liye to kya kya karoge,
Soch ke dil muskuraye..
Bade acche lagte hain..
Yeah arpan, samarpan, mera daaman aur tum..
Ishita at the beginning of this relationship had made up her mind about Ravan kumar, she slotted him to be rude, inconsiderate loveless man hating life's beautiful things. As their life progressed the forgot the Ravan kumar she once had slotted and started rediscovering him as a father, a son, a brother, a son-in-law and finally when love beckoned she started rediscovering him as a husband. With her eyes wearing the shades of love the man she once knew now started appearing strange, unknown and full of pleasant surprises. Today when this mysterious man full of contradictions compliments her, it sends her heart into a flutter mode, she yearns to hear name from his mouth, she yearns to be touched by him, she years to be gazed by him and she years to be called his. So she plays the endearing game of hide and seek with him, she hides and he seeks, and when she seeks he hides, amongst this game of hide and seek lies love out in the open, palpable in the air for them to touch and for their hearts to feel. She feels overwhelmed with all the love and attention he is showering on her, she now is a woman who feels needed, who feels secured and who feels her love being reciprocated. This new woman, Raman's Ishita, today confidently played this naughty game of hide and seek with her Ravan, he sought a few naughty moments of togetherness under the spell of alcohol, she hid behind her commitments, she sought his attention and compliments he hid behind his wit and humor. These naughty moments so full of love now are brimming their life full of hope and happiness.
Dil ki dhadkan badhti jaye,
Saamne jab who aaye..
Pyaar isi ko kehte hain kya,
Koi yeah samjhaye..
When he walks towards her, she lowers her gaze, her heart racing at the beat of a million drums, she looks up to meet his intense gaze only to find herself lowering her gaze again to escape the intensity of the love in his eyes. In such tremulous state her heart still yearns to hear him profess her love, so she acts dumb about his feelings, she encourages him to start afresh, to come closer so she can hear what her heart has knows from her beloved's mouth.
Mere Sukh Dukh Mein Rehte Ho...
Tumm Banke Humsaya...
Tere Apne Pan ke Aaage... Maine bhi sar jhukaya...
Baade Acche Lagte Hai...
Saath Tera...Yeh Dilase...Humdardi...Aur Tum...
There was a time when he roared at the sight of her saree touching his suits, today under the spell of love he longs for her soul to enter his. For puttar now, her wish has become his command, so in those few stolen moments he informs her that her wish for Mihir attending all the functions has been granted. With his soft eyes full of love for her, a smile reflecting his inner peace, without using any words he bows down his head in front of her thanking her for being his shadowy strength through all the crises that they have overcome. Love was overflowing in this moment when a husband stood in silence with a bowed head while a wife looked on in admiration at her bewildering husband.
Today we saw a couple trying to steal a few moments of togetherness from the busy chaos of life to profess their love for each other, life took over but love didn't lose, it made this couple dance to it's tunes till their hearts came loose.
Ending with a nazam by Gulzar sahab that perfectly describes today's episode.
misre atke hue hain hothon par
udte-phirte hain titliyon ki tarah
lafz kaagaz pe baith-te hi nahii
kabse baitha hua hoon main jaanam
saade kaagaz pe likhke naam tera
bas tera naam hi mukammal hai
isse behtar bhi nazm kya hogi
-Gulzar
Gulzar is saying, that a poem is entangled in his heart, the lines stuck at his lips, the words flying around like butterflies, he is sitting staring a paper for hours with only his beloved's name written on it. The name alone is poem for him and there could be no better poem than this for him. Similary, both Ishita and Raman had love at the tip of their tongue but words evaded them today, they tried for hours to profess their love but only managed stealing a few moments of togetherness. And what better poem can there be than those stolen moments of togetherness brimming with love.
Note: I had penned these lines down when I watching Ishita trying to leave for the party and Raman trying to delay her departure. Didn't include it before because well...I don't know. Nonetheless here it is.
Woh dil kuchal ke chali hai
Hamari khwaboon ko sang le chali hai
Kehten hai shaam ko lotengi
Hamari khwaboon ko lotaengi
Par inn kambakht khwaboon ko kaun samjhaye
Jo zidd pakad ke khade hai
Ke jinka haath pakadke chale hai
Wohi toh khwaboon ke khud jageer hai
