Nope, prior to swap TRP was 5.5 and the highest TRP 6.3 was during Sahil Nikkah week.
Currenlty it is just slowly gaining back the trps lost immediately after swap (4.9)

I know but u see after swap trp start to growth steadily who knows if this dragging continues aunties shower them loves to Aaher 😛

I guess it's because Sanam is back and people are actually watching more and more ever since she is shown after kidnapping. All wants her to get back and both sisters to reunite and take revenge.
On a serious note it's not because of Aaher.

5.5 was the week of the swap. 😆 Week before that was 5.0 or 5.1. 4.9 was Diwali week. They are pretty much steady.

Edit. No, not saying it's due to AaHer, but 5.3 week did not have as much Sanam as people claimed when ratings came out, and certainly nothing of her escape which was what was attributed for the 5.3. Escape can only be attributed to 5.4 week (last week)

Do you mean by week of the swap as the week that confession took place because the swap took place on thursday night...???
And diwali week was where most of Aher romance took place right????? but yeah I guess it could also be due to Dhiwali and not necessarily Aher...
I don't know KK, maybe you guys are right and TRP audience is OK with this overstretched swap track. 😆
Lets see how it keeps fairing...but then now that it "SEEMS" to be nearing its end maybe it will keep improving anyway...

I just checked the TRP chart and confession week TRP was 5.5 (12-18 Oct week, week 42). The confession took place on 15th, the swap took place on 16th at the end of episode and 17 was right after swap at IM (Friday).
So yes technically swap did take place in this week too...I don't know about you, but I would attribute the 5.5 more to the confession than the fact that swap happened at the end of that week.

The week after that,... week 43 (19-25 oct) Diwali week, where they showed most of the OTT Aher romance the TRP dropped to 4.9. Now here I do agree that the drop could also be due to Diwali, but then the week after Diwali the TRP was still not to the same level as the confession week (5.3)
And then week 45, again it gained another 0.1 So now at 5.4.

SO after Divali it has been gaining slowly but after the Dhvali week they showed Sanam in the middle of that week and then the next week more of Sanam and imminent escape and then last week a lot of hits and misses with regards to Sanam's escape...

Frankly I don't think the swap has in anyway increased TRP...it is slowly gaining back the lost TRP after confession week and that also due to IMO fans hoping for the imminent escape of Sanam the cvs keep hinting at for the past 3 weeks now...

But you first said prior to swap, it .got 5.5, when that week also included swap It's easy to say confession got ratings, but that's just conjecture just as saying swap got the ratings as well. But a few other points come in here Love declaration was a surprise which came in the episode itself on Wednesday so how could that give ratings? If it were to give ratings the next day, well the very next day swap came so are we saying that the increase is solely due to Wednesday's effect on Thursday?

That week was drama leading to a swap, which everyone was pretty much expecting. The first two days were a drag fest which is what surprised me regarding the ratings. But still, even the drag fest was pointing towards big thing happening (and it wasn't confession, but rather drama/twist was expected to happen.)

4.9 was Diwali week and everyone attributed the drop only to the swap, not taking into account many shows dropped as well. Now 5.3 did not get back all of 5.5, true, but no one celebrating the 4.9 rating was expecting that increase, were they? They were expecting a further drop. Most weren't watching and when the QH ratings came a few days late, they got confused and attributed 5.3 to viewers watching for Sanam's escape, when her escape was nowhere on the cards in that week. Only thing was her thinking to herself on that Thursday that she must escape somehow, and that wasn't done in a climax or cliffhanger way either.

And Sanam's escape gains one more point in the last week So all false attribution to Sanam's escape hurts here, because then I can point to it and say: Why isn't there a bigger increase then for the week Sanam did escape, with the Friday before showing the precap of her escaping,

As for the worst AaHer in 4.9 week, that's not exactly the case either. Diwali week had AaHer in a more 'comedic, light' vein, while the next week had a more glum aura to their scenes. Yes, Diwali week for me was unsettling, but at the same time I did say the rangoli scene was strangely a good scene There still it was a different underlying feel from what came about the next week.

The next week had--Suhheri touching Aahil's face, Aahil and Sunheri by the dresser, him helping her off with the bangles. If Aahil went to kiss Seher in the week prior, that was played off as humorous with her stomping on his foot and backing away from him as much as she could and as quickly as she could. Whereas the next week, Sunheri needed to play the part to an extent, so you see some of their scenes such as the dresser scene which was pretty intimate.

Am I saying the drop was all Diwali? No. And yes, I am sure they most likely did lose a bit of viewers. But I think it's disingenuous to point to 4.9 and say that's the drop due to swap and 5.5 was prior to swap and due to confession.

And the show is steady if you look at the two weeks prior to Diwali and then post Diwali. Drop and increase are expected but the makers would most likely would be fine with a steady product which will give them a longer run.

All that speculation post 4.9 where people said ratings have forced makers to change and bring back Sanam. But did it happen? They still went continued with the con/switch and continue on. Sunheri may die but it's still well after they kept showing her with Aahil, Sanam in captivity and Sunheri continuing with the con.

(I wasn't ignoring your first reply, btw. I just didn't have the chance was always planning to respond during weekend :)
