Akbar decides to punish Salim for his mistake of hitting a boy with an arrow. Salim tries to explain that it was just an accident and the arrow hit the boy by mistake only, but Akbar is not ready to listen. He punish Salim by asking him to stay away from his family and be with the injured boy's family while he recovers. Jodha gets emotional and hugs Salim, while Rukaiya smartly tries to convince Akbar not to punish Salim but however Akbar will stand by his decision.
