I actually think Sanam was attracted to Aahil MUCH MUCH before marriage. If you guys remember that dhaba episode where he pulled her up close by twisting her arm. He totally shut her up. In fact, I have noticed that every time he physically intimidated her, she was no longer capable of saying a word. Though I am not a fan of physical intimidation personally...
I think he physically intimidated her in the dhaba burning episode too but I'm not sure...
I never denied her attraction before marriage. I agree, she really was. About physical intimidation. Heh...I made a post about it during those two Dhabba episodes. And he not only physically intimidated her, he sexually intimidated her. It was a staple of GK in Geet and IPK. He did it during the dhaba burning too.
But...after that, Aahil has not done any physical or sexual intimidation. He has manhandled a bit, he had that Othello possessive, jealous, territorial reaction and he had that dance. But none of it was done with the intent to intimidate her through the use of his physical proximity or through sexual implication. When he stopped her from leaving the bedroom and she would sleep there, he did not do it as a means of intimidation...but rather to just stop her. (Maybe you can still say it is physical intimidation, but it definitely isn't sexual.) He isn't expecting her to cower and give in due to his proximity to her--that is something that happens from her, because she is affected.
Same with when he confronted her after Rehan. He is using his physicality to stop her and it is a jerkish, assholish, territorial type behavior. However he still doesn't do it with the intent to intimidate her.
So yeah, there was always this undeniable attraction that always pulled her towards him, even when she supposedly hated him. From the very start.
She only started to get emotionally attracted to him post graveyard scene. But even before the graveyard scene, she was seen asking him why he drinks so much. That question clearly stemmed from concern, so this topic could be open for debate.
Yup. And talked about this in my reply to the Aahil topic. In short, you see it after the Snake fiasco how the definite change in dynamic. Especially from her side. It's what leads her to be so familiar with him and ask him in such a manner why he drinks so much.
After marriage, she noticed the change in him. That khajoor episode anyone? When he was going to masjid for prayer, she totally noticed. And yes, I also noticed her staring at his lips when he sat her down before his love confession. She had actually believed all that he said, but was shattered when he told her it was all a lie when they were back in their room. She being the naive and unassuming girl, took his words at face value.
I believe she was a bit aware of how he was being affected while they took the bites out of the dates. And she was also aware how willing and submissive he was there and the way he was looking at her.
Yeah when she went to Masjid for prayer it was definitely something which she took notice of. The maturity in what he said and how he said.
The point at which I think she began to really like him was before Haya's nikaah when Haya and co came over to invite them. She noticed the ease with which he was interacting with her family and she could not help but develop a liking for her hubby. She did have a crush on him before due to his hotness (that hot red towel scene) but IMO this is the point when she really started to like him and started falling in love with him. This is where her journey started and after that she started to think more of him as a human being and person, rather than some hot guy who she got married to by chance.
Yesterday even after Tanveer tried to bully her so that she stays away from Aahil, she still went on and got close to him and placed her hands on his shoulder. She is not so easily bullied! Her comfort around him and how she constantly smiled at him only indicated her adoration of him. She adores him now! And when he was giving her that indulging stare, she straight up asked him "Aise kya dekh rahe hain?" She wanted to know why he was staring at her. What had made him stare at her. She wanted to be acknowledged. Poor thing is so naive and emotionally stupid (credit: MaryBarton) she thought he was only interested in learning about her likes because of the stupid competition. The fact that she wanted to learn about his childhood also indicated that she wants to explore him too. Her heart is involved now and no Tanveer can come between them. ;)
Word to both paragraphs above.
I also think that she is going to be the first one to confess...
