Although Manik's flawed logic of : "I let go of Nandini" = "Dhruv + Nandini happily ever after", or "if Dhruv can't have her, I have no right to have her", and his poor wording to break Nandini down makes me want to see him suffer, I am really excited and hopeful for this track because after such a heart breaking partition and also Cabir's secret coming out in the most heinous way, it can't get any worse. Its only gonna go up from here. They have hit rock bottom. Yes it will be a long and painful journey to rebuild themselves but now they will be fighting for themselves. They will be individuals. They can only grow stronger from this. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. They will crumble, they will break, they will hate and they will shake but at the end of it all, we will have a stronger and more "free" Manik, Cabir, Nandini, Alya, Mukti, & hopefully Dhruv. This is just the beginning. And I am excited to see how things unravel.
Yes, now all of them have trust issues, barring Navya & Dhruv, who will hopefully see the difference between reality and fantasy/perfection soon. They will all be broken hearted, all struggle with trust but they will have a stronger sense of themselves as individuals while fighting through this and at the end of it all.
As much as Manik pissed me off, this was needed. In order for Fab5 to grow as individuals, Manik had to break AND in order for Manik to break, Nandini had to break. Now, its only going up from here. It will be rocky but they need this to find "normalcy" and freedom in life. Their lives are so tied up with each other that each of them have to break to break free.
We saw a glimpse of this in Monday's & Tuesday's episodes. Manik broke down. When Mukti was in need, she tried to call Manik. When Alya was in need, she tried to call Manik. But obviously, Manik being in his agony and crumbling basically forced them to start to think for themselves and find a solution for their own problems. Mukti flushed away her pills, Alya confronted Mukti, and Cabir took a decision on not giving up on his love. These were all individual decisions which they have taken for themselves WITHOUT Manik. So, Manik has to break for Fab5 to grow stronger and in order for him to break and crumble, Nandini has to break. As Fab5 grows more independent only then will Manik have freedom to his desires and put himself first when it comes to things like love. All in all, the strings have to untie to be tied together into a stronger knot.
Mukti is tied to Harshad whom Navya ties herself with. Harshad is hell-bent to break Fab5. Fab5 is totally dependent on Manik. Manik ties himself to Nandini, Dhruv ties himself with Nandini, Manik ties himself with Dhruv, Alya ties herself with Manik, Cabir ties himself with Raghav... And then there is Noyonika...
DAMN, They NEED to break up all these ties and start from a clean slate because literally all of them tying each other to another for the sake of love, trust, protection, revenge, etc is only getting messier and messier. It has gone to the point where it is unhealthy. Not just for ManRuv or Mukti BUT for all of them. The fact that they are all beads of the same thread is really emotionally and mentally lethal.
I welcome this new beginning with open arms.
P.S.One thing also. I have mentioned this before. Manik has said that love can't be controlled to Dhruv yet he is trying to control it. Not only his but Nandini's love as well. The irony! He will learn the hard way. Bring it on. Lets see how far he can "control" the uncontrollable.
