It was not just Dev. Even other characters have too many unanswered and inexplicable questions attached. I do not understand and it makes no sense.
Rajnath:
- Why and how did a man with a good, wealthy family turn out to be such a criminal? Did influence of his good brother never rub off him?
- What was the use of somehow getting Arnab out of his way when 50% was still with his son Dev?
- Why did he commit a crime so grave that a stranger like Sakshi was able to blackmail him, and even marry him?
- Even if he committed a crime then why was he so foolish to not to do it in complete stealth? How come tapes of his acts exist? He says he would be ruined if exposed. If it was that serious then why was he this careless?
- He was always rich and well connected. Why couldn't he just send spies and goons after Sakshi to get tapes from her? Instead of marrying her! He who puts many businessmen, lawyers and others in place, could not handle one lone poor woman?
- So many sting operations and expose happen. But no one ends up marrying the whistleblower to shut him or her up! What nonsense is this?
- Why couldn't he cajole Sakshi, take her in confidence and get access to tape? Or beat her, intimidate, manipulate and threaten her to get tape? Neither he followed her or spied on her all these 30 years? He never noticed her affinity for one specific orphanage?
- How the hell did he end up having two kids with a woman he never loved and was forced to marry? If he hated her then why he slept with her?
- If Shaurya and Kangana are not Rajnath and Sakshi kids but have been born from others then how come both Rajnath and Sakshi are so possessive about both and keeping them as their own? How they do not know that kid is not theirs?
- Why did he let Raima marry Jatin?
- 30 years and even best friend/family friend drama could not lead Raima or Rajnath to tape?
- Given he still sleeps with Raima when he secretly meets her, how come she never got pregnant in past?
- He calls Shaurya a bad heir and is fed up of him. But why does he encourage his betting and womanising ways? Why he laughs and gives him tips in private? First scold and then encourage same habit?
- Why didn't he ever think or notice that Dayal was taking too many liberties and getting too close for just a business partner? The Thakurs' behaviour never struck him?
- Durga was with Shaurya when he got paralysed. Rape case was first brought up at her party. Their allies were exposed in Durga's presence. Shaurya targeted Dev over Durga. Still Rajnath has no suspicion on Durga?
- if he is so careless then how has he survived all these years?
- If he used to trust Sakshi's instincts earlier then why he ignored her warnings this time despite her fears proving to be right?
- How does he believe Dev can kill? Doesn't he know what a simpleton he is? How come he senses nothing suspicious in this whole situation?
- He covered up all Goenka crimes earlier because he was worried about family name. Why did he send Dev to jail then? Where was his worry for Goenka name then?
- Why hasn't he spied on family or asked henchmen to update him whenever orders from his family come? How come Shaurya and Sakshi draw money to pay up police or assassins yet Rajnath has no idea? What kind of man he is?
- Durga compared both brothers and he did notice how she was playing both. Then she suddenly professed love for Shaurya. But readily married Dev when Shaurya refused to marry her. And is now all pativrata for Dev. He finds nothing suspicious in her behaviour? He let a girk have her way in his family just for a business deal? How can a deal be more important than family? Isn't he already rich? Aren't there any more lucrative deals available to bag?😲 That he is ready to do anything for this deal?
- He had said he would find those who paralysed Shaurya. Why didn't he do anything then? Shaurya's state doesn't bother him? His only waaris got attacked and he is okay?
- Akash had many secrets of Goenkas after working with them. And one day he resigned. He left but was still alive. Yet Rajnath is okay with it? He never wondered why he disappeared and what if he leaks their secrets?
- When he sent Dev to jail didn't it strike him that Mathur was in same jail and he could leak info to Dev? Mathur had sworn revenge on Goenkas before going to jail!
- Will he not wonder how Mukherjee came in hospital despite his instructions to not to call police? Ever wonder who called police? And why?
- If he was so worried for reputation then how did he marry Sakshi? Didn't anyone question him who he was marrying? Arnab and others in family were also okay with a stranger from streets becoming Goenka bahu? No one pointed out Rajnath for not choosing a khandaani girl?
- Couldn't he promise to give her money but avoid marriage? Couldn't he strike an alternative deal with her? Why only agree to deal she offered?
- Durga also did engagement with Neil and broke it professing love for Shaurya. This did not strike Rajnath as fishy? Neither did Thakurs have any relatives at wedding. He was never concerned about background of Thakurs who he was letting into his family?
Sakshi:
- If you are intelligent, alert, beautiful and have other talents like playing musical instrument, if you are driven and gutsy then why the hell you resort to criminal ways? Why not use qualities to achieve success on your own? Like say set up business or look for a good job?
All her qualities are completely directed in wrong direction! As if crime is the only way to wriggle out of street existence!
- If she was absorbed in wrong circles as a kid and wanted to get out of that life then why not take help from an NGO or start own business? Why blackmail a criminal businessman and marry him for a better life?
- If she married Raj because she wanted to upgrade her status etc then why didn't she try to win him over? She still does not want to get out of his life. So why not work on relationship if you want to remain Mrs Goenka?
- Why does she hate Rajnath and does not like it when he touches her? Why she drives him away? She wants to be Mrs Goenka and loves her kids but cringes at Rajnath's touch? What's this?
- Both Rajnath and Sakshi hate each other, want each other to suffer, yet both collaborate over ideas in manipulation and cover ups. What's this? Either respect each other if you want to be a team. Or get rid of each other! Why this love hate relationship?
- In all these nearly 30 years Sakshi never realised Raima was too close to them and Rajnath was too concerned for her? Where were her so called instincts that she didn't know of the affair?
- If she does not love Raj anyway then why affair hurt her? As a defeat? But then even Shaurya fooled her. So will she kill him too? Affair was fault of both RajMa. Why she wants to kill only Raima and leave Raj only to grieve?
- Why doesn't she know about Rajnath blackmailing Shaurya, Shaurya knowing about the affair, lawyer being killed etc? So much happened yet this instinct tower could not pick up signals?
- Why doesn't she keep tabs on Shaurya and Kangana and discipline them? What has she been doing?
- Why doesn't she know that Rajnath laughs with Shaurya over bedding women? Why doesn't she confront him for encouraging wrong habit?
- Why she herself smiles at Shaurya's crude ways and rather asks others to put up with him?
- Why does she keep covering up crimes?
- Why was she okay with Akash leaving alive? Didn't she think he would expose them?
- She burnt Rehmat and his press but did not think that there were witnesses around? And she could be caught?
- If she was married earlier or had affair or was on streets etc then how come nobody from her past recognises her or spread stuff about her in public? How no one points out reality of Mrs Goenka? Media laps up such juice in a flash!
- Okay she was an orphan but did she have no other relative in the whole wide world who she could rely on and who could take care of her?
- If she hates Rajnath's touch or wants to see him in pain then why and how she had 2 kids with him?
- If they are not their kids then how come neither know?
- If she claims she had loved someone once then why didn't she marry him?
- She has any idea of Karan-Kangana affair or not? Why doesn't she keep tabs on daughter's whereabouts?
- Why was she encouraging Durga to marry into Goenka house? She was saying aao Durga as if she had huge plan in place! But she has done nothing to counter Durga!
- Why didn't she hire a contract killer to finish Raima? Why did she go herself? And why did she rry to shoot if she doesn't know how to shoot at target? Why didn't she shoot her more than once to finish her? Why did she openly confront her? Why didn't she disguise herself? Didn't she ever think what would happen if she was left alive by chance?
-For all lies Raima does know many secrets of Goenkas. Didn't Sakshi think that fighting with her could cost them dearly if she decided to open her mouth? She was going to talk of Payal rape on that party night! Why did she mess with her directly? Why no indirect way to handle her?
- How come she never wondered how Durga knew about RajMa affair? And even Shaurya knew about it? Did she ever think?
Shaurya:
- Is betting on bedding women so important for him that he was okay with Durga and Dayal getting too close to their family, insulting him and his parents?
- He doesn't remember Durga's behaviour when he was attacked? How come he still compliments her for being shaatir etc and doesn't suspect her as reason for his paralysis?
- Doesn't he realise his friends have been fleecing him in name of bets and having fun on his money? Why does he listen to them?
- His friend had affair with his sister. His other friends know it. Only he doesn't know? Huh?
- Durga did drama with both Neil and Dev. And also him. Still this guy doesn't suspect her?
- Why does he still commit crimes despite knowing how much one rape case cost him?
- Expose of all allies is connected to Durga. Including his fake degree. Yet he could never figure out how he was being used? Is that stupid?
Suchitra:
- She saw Durga with Shaurya, Dev and Neil. Then again with Shaurya. Yet she has no problem? Sanskarlakshmi is okay with a woman who played around with 3 guys and broke one engagement?
- Did she ever think what background of Thakurs was? They had no relative at engagement or wedding. Didn't she think it was shady?
- Other Goenkas were always rude to her and bullied her. Yet she kept laughing around them? She was okay with it and rather scolded her own simpleton son to behave?
- She had no idea of what kind of devrani Rajnath was bringing to khandaan?
- She had no idea of how her husband died?
- Durga is still telling lies and exchanging taunts with Goenkas. Suchitra doesn't find it weird?
- Why was she all "pata nahi" in Payal case but wants justice for her own innocent son? Why she still doesn't realise Goenkas must have made similar manipulation in Payal case?
- How come she was okay with driver's daughter roaming about their house, even in son's bedroom and their kitchen? She never minded overdose of this friendship?
- Why was she calling Payal and Nitya pyari yet also believed Shaurya was not guilty in rape case?
Durga:
- Why doesn't she meet Payal? Why her focus is on Goenkas but not on sister anymore?
- Why did she lie to Dev about identity if she married him? Lying made sense only if she didn't have to marry him!
- She claims to know Goenkas or has done 2 year planning. Then how she had no idea when Sakshi sent goons to scare Payal or framed Dev in Raima attempt to murder case?
- Why is her past with parents not shown? What was their relationship like with Goenkas as employees? Why didn't they know how rotten bosses were? Why they never warned their girls? Why were they okay with girls roaming about Goenka house and Dev being this close that he even had keys to house! Conservative middle class parents are never like that!
- Why did she not secure Payal properly?
- Why even earlier she did not immediately come to Payal's rescue and came only after 2 years to rescue her from asylum? Why was she living comfortably in US till then?
- Why did she tell half truth to Dev? Either tell nothing or tell it all! Why she invited more problems for her and him?
- Why it didn't occur to her that Dev's fight with Raima could be used against him?
- She has hours of recording of RajMa affair, Goenka plotting Dev's murder. Why the hell is she keeping it away? Why not expose it openly?
- What was point of marrying into Goenka family if she didn't plant recording device everywhere? And collect proof? Why hasn't she discovered Sakshi's secret room? Dev had discovered her secret room easily!
- Why does she cringe when Shaurya now comes after her? She wanted to marry him. How would she have tolerated him then?
- What was her huge plan that she was so desperate to marry into Goenka family? She has not executed anything except a faulty affair expose.
- Why does she tell everything like Nitya while talking to Dev yet still pretends to be Durga? What a joke! Why does she say she will free Dev when she herself is Nitya?
- Shaurya is always disgusting. How come as Nitya she never knew of his reputation even despite hanging around their house? How did she get deceived by him?
- Why is she only playing games with Sakshi when Shaurya is main culprit and Rajnath was equally responsible for wiping off her family?
Dayal:
- He sometimes helps Durga in detail. Sometimes he wants her to back off and leave. What is this?
- What about his relatives or circle? His original daughter died. He then got a new girl, gave her his own daughter's face and such drama happened yet nobody knows or suspects anything? Nobody questions how his daughter came alive or when she died? How can he live in a vacuum undiscovered?
- Why hasn't he secured Payal properly?
- How come he has so much money that he can manipulate, save witnesses, arrange hideout for them etc?
- How come a US doc has so much influence at every Kolkata hospital?
- What specialist is he? Performs every operation be it eyes, cancer, heart, plastic surgery blah blah!
- What about his guilt over his own real daughter? When will CVs address that due to which he helped Nitya to this extent?
Raima:
- Which woman gets ready to become a third wheel in marriage in hope that her lover will leave his wife one day?
- Didn't she have her own family or parents and no one tried to dissuade her from entering this arrangement with Rajnath?
-Rajnath's crimes are known to her. Still she loved and supported him?
- Why did she marry Jatin if she loved Rajnath?
- Why did she support Sakshi in her crimes and cover ups? And also covered up Shaurya's crime? Why didn't she use their crimes to blackmail them and force them to leave Raj for her?
- Why did she develop problem with Sakshi only now? It took her 30 years to be fed up? She was happily tagging along with her 2 months ago and even put new ideas in her head!
- Why did she use Sakshi against Jatin? If she hated her this much?
- Why was she happy at Rajnath blackmailing Shaurya?
- Why was she herself suspicious of Durga yet agreed with Rajnath when he talked of not suspecting Durga this much?
- Why did she never find out camera planted in her room? She didn't find it even during spring cleaning?
- Why was she unable to get any proof or hint from Sakshi? All these 30 years? She never followed her? Or spied on her? If she was so desperate to kick her out and be with Raj then why they both didn't find her secret?
- Why was she okay with doing best friend drama with Sakshi? She did not object to this idea?
- Why was she just standing there and took bullet? Why didn't she shout or raise alarm?
- She sleeps with doors and gates open that anyone can come and shoot her?

This show and its characters have too many loopholes. CVs better address them instead of wasting time in same old clashes and winding up suddenly and abruptly.
They are also diverting attention from main theme which was justice for that rape. Too much focus on Goenkas and their frustration or lame DevGa flashbacks but with no conclusive insight into past.
All criminals have to be tracked down and it is not just Sakshi or Shaurya who need to be pinned down! Durga has not even gone after other boys who raped Payal one by one! Only Goenkas are not her enemies alone!
What about other boys, their parents who covered up crime, lady doctor, Payal's friend who gave fake statement, Mukherjee? What about the goons who tried to kill her? And the mental hospital docs who made Payal mentally disturbed?
When will they be exposed? And taken to justice?
