Next 4 days went in a rush Rk has confined himself to his room , he avoided everyone. Whenever someone asked him what happened he woul say he isnt feeling well because of the jetlag. It was madhus engagement day and Rk had no option other than crying on his helplessnesses . Rk was in his thoughts remembering the time spend with madhu when Pabha entered the room and sat beside him on the bed "Rishab , How are you?" "I am fine pabho, how are you? Are you taking your medicines on time" "Yes I am fine and taking me medicines regularly. Now tell me what is wrong with you" "Nothing pabho" "Rishab from the day we came here , I am observing you , You are not being yourself" "No , Pabho its just that..." "Rishab if you dont want to tell me the truth its Okay but dont lie. Your eyes are telling a different story and I want to know that" pabho said . Rk got up from the bed and sat beside pabho's legs and keep his head on her lap. Pabho instantly kept her hand on his head "rishab tell me beta" "Pabho I love a girl ans she also loves me" "That is very good news" "But there is a problem she is getting married" "If she loves you we will talk with her parents" "No pabho we cant do that her father is against love marriages" "Rishab we can atleast try I" "No pabho she has said me that if I have ever loved her I wont do anything" "Who is she Rishab tell me. You dont do anything , I will do" "Pabho its madhu. I and madhu love each other , I thought I would ask mom to take the proposal and let it look like arranged marriage but when I was with you in london everything here turned into a mess" rk said. Pabho looked at Rk in shock she got from the bed and went out of the room leaving Rk all alone and helpless again. Later at night , the engagement cermony was going on it was like torture for Rk he was feeling suffocated by giving a fake smile to everyone. Madhu was in no better conditions she was dying every second she has decided to move on but that next to impossible for her, the guilt of not giving them a chance was killing her. She has not seen Rk after what happened in he bedroom, she couldnt sleep from last 4 days , she just kept tossing in her bed. After seeing Rk today she felt ashamed of herself , Rk looked vulnerable. Madhu wanted to hug him and tell him that everything was going to be alright but she knew nothing was going to be alright she has messed up everything badly.

Two days later madhu was sitting in her room dressed as a bride she remembered all her moments with Rk their promise to live and die together but today she was going to break their promise and she was not feeling bad about it. Madhu closed her eyes in distress she couldnt handle this any more she opened the drawer and took out a bottle which she had taken for her fathers medicines box. She knew if she would take it excessively she would and she wanted to. There was no meaning of life to her if she was not able to live it with Rk with lot of courage she started opening the cap of the bottle when padmini entered her room suddenly madhu startled and hid the bottle "Madhu beta , I want you to be calm and come with me now a problem has arised" padmini said with a tensed face "Mom what happened why are you so worried" "Madhu come downstairs you will know" "Okay" both of them went down. People were talking something in hushed voices , some were looking at madhu with pity. Madhu was confused ,What was going on. Malik came and hugged madhu "Dad what is wrong?? What happened??" madhu asked. "Madhu beta sultan has canceled the wedding on last moment. He is not coming , Madhu beta I am sorry" "What !!! Why dad ?" "We dont know , Sulthan is missing from morning few minutes before he called and said that he dint want to maar you" Madhu was shocked she dint want this marriage to happen but not like this, Malik started shouting on mohan "It is all because of you , You dint talk to your son if he wanted to marry or not. What will happen about my daughter now you promised me. This is the way you keep you promise !! Your son dint have courage to tell anything , he ran away like a coward. Now who will marry my daughter people will start telling bad about her" before mohan could reply pabho interrupted "Malik we know it is our mistake and we are very sorry about it. We dint know anything about Sultan's intentions , dont woory about madhu as mohan has promised madhu will get married to mohans son. Rishabh will marry her!!" "What ??" madhu , rk , malick shouted together. "Yes it is our mistake and will rectify it. We always wanted madhu to be a a kundra bahu ad she will be" "Rk do you agree with this marriage" malik asked to rk. "I want to talk to pabho once before I tell my decision" rk replied "Okay you both go to madhu's room and talk but be fast" malik said with a worry in his voice both Rk and pabho went to madhu's room "Pabho what is this ???? Where is bhai ??" "Rishab if you want you can also call madhu here we all can talk her at once" rk went out and took permission from malik to talk with madhu . Now three of them were in the room , pabho said "Madhu I know about you and rishab. Do you want to marry him" madhu looked at rk and then said "Yes pabho I love him and want to marry him" "So you both are getting married now" but rk interrupted "Where is bhai ?? What happened??" "Rishab when you said me that you loved madhu on the engagement day I was shocked and confused. I dint know how to react both you and sulthan are equal. I thought to talk with malik but then remembered you said that he wont agree for love marriage. From two days I am observing madhu here eyes are reflecting the pain same as yours her smile was fake and then I decided I couldnt let this wedding happen. I talked with sultan and came to know that he also liked madhu but when I said that you both loved eacht other he got very angry on you rishab that you dint tell him all this he was also angry on madhu that she agreed to marry him when she loved rishab but atlast he understood and was ready to back off from the marriage" "Pabho I love you are the best, thank you so much !! but were is bhai ??" "He is at the farmhouse partying on the occasion of his broken marriage" both madhu and rk chuckled hearing this "Now I am going out you both talk once and I want both of you at the mandap in 5 minutes" saying this Pabho went out leaving them alone. "So madhu will you marry me now??" "No" "What??" "You need to propose me first" "What!!" "Yes now or else I wont marry you" "Okay , Okay" rk said. He came nearer to madhu and put his arms on her waist and pulled her very close , madhu could feel butterflies in her stomach this was the moment she was waiting for since forever "So Madhubala Malik would you like to give me the honor of being your husband. Will you marry me Madhu?" rk asked her tears of joy started flowing from her eyes she has lost hopes of living this moment what they had between them was not love it was beyond love "Yes Rk I will love to" madhu said. Rk moved forward to kiss her when madhu put a hand on his chest and pushed him "Not now Rk you will ruin my make up and I dont want to look bad on my wedding" "Dont worry soon-to-be-Mrs Kundra look the best you can as I am going to love ruining it tonight" saying this Rk winked at her and went out.
