Madhu was going to her room when her heart flickered as his voice tickled her senses. She turned her head in the direction of the sound to check if he was really there. Her eyes filled with tears of joy and love as they met his equally loving gaze. They both lived a thousand moments in that few seconds, their eyes expressing how happy they were to have see each other again. She started to get down the staircase to see him from closer, while he stood there refusing to shift his gaze from her for even a second. He wanted to observe every detail of her slowly and fully. As she fluttered down the final step she was greeted by her father at that moment they realized they were not alone "Oh madhu beta you came down i was going to call you. Look who has returned after 1 long year , Rishab Kundra. I knew he would come , how could he miss your wedding" Malik madhu's father said. Reality stared dawning on madhu her tears threatened to fall she started to blink her eyes rapidly to control them this change of emotions on her face has not gone unnoticed by Rishab fondly called as Rk , he knew it was difficult for madhu but she was the one being stubborn.
"Hi madhu how are you?" "I am fine Rk and what about you" "Now I am feeling good" "Ok Rk I have some work I will talk to you later" "Ok we will meet later by the way uncle has called as for dinner so will meet you soon, Okay now I will also take your leave" rk said "Rk lets go together I also wanted to talk to your father. Bye madhu" "Bye madhu replied.
Rk and Madhu were neighbors and best friends from childhood they grew up together and even studied together. As the time passed by their friendship also grew stronger and turned into love everything was going smoothly as they have planned. Rk said he would talk to his mother about her and let everything look a arranged marriage as madhu father was against love marriages but when Rk was in his final year of studies Pabho Rk's bua got a minor heart attack , doctors have asked her not to travel. She lived in London and there was no chance that she could come to come until a year. Pabho dint have children but Rk was her favorite so Rk's family decided that Rk would go to London to take care of pabho and bring her back and also complete his final year of studies there. Madhu was very tensed after hearing the news that Rk was going away from her for 1 year but Rk made her understand that nothing is going to happen as their love is very strong. Rk said he would talk to his mother about them after Pabho's health gets stable. After Rk went to London it became very difficult for both of them to talk as their timings dint match but they managed, they used to chat or leave offline messages for each other. Two weeks after Rk has left, madhu came to know that Rk's parents were coming to their house with a marriage proposal. Madhu was on seventh sky after knowing that , Malik came to Madhu's room she was getting ready as Rk's parents were going to come in few hours "Madhu beta you look very happy" "Yes dad I am happy" "You know from last days you were so silent I was getting worried for you. Madhu beta are you happy with wedding??" malik asked. Madhu gave a shy smile, nodding her head she hugged her father "You know Madhu when you were small I promised Mohan that I would get you married to his son but somewhere in my heart I was worried if you wouldn't be happy with it. If you would say No as I have given my words to him but now seeing your happiness I am relieved" "Dad when you have promised him , How could I saw No!" "I am proud of you madhu Now get ready , I will also go and check the preparations" malik said.
Madhu got ready and was happily sitting in her room she was nervous and excited as well. She could feel butterflies in her stomach this was the day she was waiting for. Madhu was missing Rk very much he was not present here today but she knew they were going to spend the rest of the life together. "What if he is not there here , he is always present in my heart" madhu said to herself. Padmini entered the room "Come madhu everyone is waiting for you downstairs" both of them went down. Rk's whole family was present there Radha Rk's mother said "Come Madhu beta , sit beside me" madhu smile and sat beside her. Mohan rk's father said "I am very happy that now we all will be a family. I am glad malik that you could keep your promise" "My promise is very precious to me Mohan how could I deny it. Madhu was meant to be a kundra bahu" malik replied. Radha caressed madhu's face and said "Sulthan and Madhu will make a very good pair" madhu felt the floor slipping from her feet Sulthan was Rk's elder brother , she thought the proposal was of Rk's , she dint want to marry sulthan. "Yes Radhaji Sulthan has always been the responsible one and I am sure he always keep my madhu happy" padmini said. Madhu sat dejected she wanted to shout and tell everyone that she loved Rk and wanted to marry him but she couldn't she has already said Yes to the wedding and her father had also promised.
Later at night madhu lay crying on bed she knew what importance her father had of a promise. She messaged Rk not to call or message her from now but her phone kept ringing continuously she ignored it . Rk kept calling and messaging her asking her what is wrong but she ignored them , this went going for few days after that it stopped. Rk's last message was " Now i get to know why you are ignoring me. So you are getting married to my brother , Madhu i know this is not what you want but why are you doing this. Madhu talk to me once I will make everything all right, I love you Madhu" after this message Rk stopped. Madhu thought Rk was moving on , she was also trying to do the same but that was not possible for her. Madhu's marriage got fixed with Sulthan and Rk came back just a week before the marriage.
That night Rk and his family came for dinner madhu dint come out of the room saying that she was ill. Madhu was on her bed when she heard her room's door opening , she turned to see who it was. It was Rk , Rk entered the room and closed the door and started coming towards Madhu. Madhu got down from the bed "Rk what are you doing here?? Go out " madhu said in a swift movement Rk caught hold of madhu's hand and twisted it at her back and pulled her nearer to him "Rk leave me !!! It is hurting!!" "It is also hurting me , You dint talk me once before taking this big decision. I missed you so much Madhu and i know you also missed me!!" "No rk I dint miss you. I have moved on and its better you also forget me" "Dont lie to me madhu. If you dint miss me and moved on Why are you still wearing the bracelet I gave you when I was going to London" "I... i... that... Rk ... Rk go from here. LEAVE" madhu said. Rk left madhu's hand and slid his hand around her waist and he pulled her more closer, he tucked madhu's hair behind her ear and brought his lips near her ear and whispered huskily "Madhu do you really want me to go" madhu's heart started beating fast she could feel Rk's breath on her nape , their proximity made madhu nervous she was afraid that she would lose her control "Yes Rk I want you to go " she replied weakly. Rk brought his face very close to madhu's their eyes locked "I love you Madhu, Why are you doing this with us"Rk said. Madhu could feel the pain in his voice , she couldn't see him like this she dint know when their lips met , all she knew was Rk needed her as badly as she wanted him. She broke the kiss and hugged him tight and started crying " This is wrong Rk. You shouldn't be here , I am going to get married to your brother in a week" "Madhu you can talk to your parents and tell them about us. This decision of yours is going to spoil 3 lives" "Rk I cant speak to dad he has promised your father to get me married to sulthan" "Is this the reason you are accepting everything, Is his promise more important than your happiness???" "Dad asked me if I wanted to get married I said Yes thinking it was your Proposal but later I came to know it was Sulthan's" "Tell the same to your father Madhu" "Rk he would never break his promise" "You can atleast try madhu!!" "Rk i know my father he wont agree , You know he is against Love Marriages. Its better we forget and move on" "No madhu if you would have been happy with the marriage i would try to forget everything but no madhu you are also not happy. You are my life madhu I cant see you like this" "Rk please dont make this difficult for me. Don't make me weak" "Madhu please give me one chance. I will set things right" "No Rk you wont do anything. If you have ever loved me you wont do anything. Please Go" .Rk went out in anger and madhu closed the door, leaned on it and started crying .Rk could hear her sobbing behind the door , tears escaped from his eyes without his permission. Rk wiped his tears and directly went back to his house ignoring everyone.
