Possible reason why Deepali was in bottom

Deepali's performance was good but still she ended up in bottom 2. I was thinking of the possible reasons why this could have happened and my primary reason was because she's just too darn popular with the other male contestants. Everyone of the male contestants with the exception of Prashant said that they liked Deepali to a certain extent. This may have irked and irritated the male contestants' fans who generally would send a couple of votes for Deepali but decided against sending this time around. Is it a case of over popularity with the male contestants?

What are your thoughts?

becoz ppl cant digest the fact that a "GIRL" can perform so good and has great chances of becoming indian idol 3. deepali is the best out there...she has all the qualities in her that qualify her to become indian idol 3. either there is something wrong with the voting system or the ppl who r voting....this is not a competition fot mr or miss popularity...but for Indian Idol 3...so i request ppl to vote right....its about time for few of the guys to leave...please vote right.

there are quite a few reasons for this:

-She is shown as being a little too "friendly" with the male contestants (sony has linked her up with almost all of them at 1 point or another). The male contestants' female fans dont like this so they dont vote for her.

-People still havnt digested the fact that a girl can be indian idol. she is undoubtedly the best female singer and they see her as a threat. to assure that she doesnt get the crown, they decide not to vote for her and get her eliminated early on.

-her performace in gala 4 didnt meet her standards. after last week's mera piya ghar aya, deepali has raised the bar and viewers expect more from her. yes, she was sick and one not-so-great performance cannot overshadow the many amazing performances she has delivered in the past. but you never know, any small mistake can lead the contestants to elimination

-people assume that since she is so popular others will vote for her so they vote for someone else instead

-bottom 4 isnt based on votes but just a drama by sony to get more people to watch the show and make them vote more

Deepali sang really well. Phir why in bottom? She is the most consistent singer of them all.
May be all the attention she got in Roobaroo irked some people.

I agree 100% i don't even have anything to add.

Well, I like Deepali more than Ankita so hping if a gal becomes the idol, its gotta be Deepali. I can't imagine Puja being the idol. :P
