We are taking time off

We read that there could be trouble in paradise for Bipasha Basu and Harman Baweja. While there were rumours that Harman's closeness to a foreign model brought about this rift, there was also news making the rounds that Bipasha's closeness to her "Alone" co-star was the reason behind the separation.

All these rumours have apparently upset Bipasha and Harman, and they have therefore issued a joint statement on the issue. Though they have confirmed that they are indeed taking some time off due to some personal differences, they also mention that it is not due to the reasons circulating in the media.

Their statement reads, "We have had our differences but this rumour is rubbish and has nothing to do with us taking our time off. In our relationship we have been dignified & respect each other. We do not like people having a field day at our expense. Whether we continue or not, we do and will always respect each other and would request media to respect our privacy too instead of printing all kind of rumours without even verifying it with us."
