Epilogue
"What's it going to be Arnav?" Shyam smirked.
Arnav looked at Khushi's white shining soul.He had always prayed and hoped for a second chance when Khushi had died.He just didn't think he would get the chance this way.
Suddenly Arnav felt really hot which was strange considering the windy weather in the middle of the night.He looked over at Payal and Akash,and found them fanning themselves with their hands and slightly sweating.
"Um I know this isn't relevant to the topic" Akash said,his face slightly red like Payal's "Is it just me or is it really really hot in the middle of Winter?"
Arnav looked at Shyam.Even he was sweating,his face the brightest red from everybody else.
It was then when Arnav realized it "Fierce" he called out.
On cue,a bright red fireball shot out of nowhere and launched itself on top of Shyam,attacking him.The crystal ball Khushi's soul was in fell out of Shyam's clutched and rolled near Arnav's feet.Arnav grabbed the crystal ball and stared at it.A small smile broke out on Arnav's face.
Payal looked at Arnav in awe "This is the first time I have ever seen him truly happy" Payal whispered to Akash.Akash nodded.
"Get off me you beast!" Shyam yelled.The fire dog growled at him and clawed at his skin with his claws "I am a demon.Your fire won't affect me" Shyam snapped.He pushed the dog away and stood up.
Arnav glared at Shyam "You are to be punished Shyam for keeping a pure soul with you for 10 years" Arnav paused "But you did give me one last chance to be with Khushi so you won't die.I am giving you the same punishment I recieved.You are stripped of your demon side and powers until the King of Hell dies"
Shyam widened his eyes "You are going to be King?"
"No.You forgot we have another brother,NK.He is going to be King"
"But he is too young"
"He'll do fine.Now leave" Arnav waved his hand and Shyam disappeared.
"Arnav?" Payal approached him.
Arnav smiled at her and looked down at Fierce "Thanks boy.You should go back to Hell now.It looks like it's going to rain now and considering water is almost like acid to you,I don't want you getting hurt" Fierce whimpered and nudged Arnav's leg.Arnav sighed "I'll be fine.NK is going to be King now.I'll make sure he takes good care of you" Fierce nodded and disappeared.
Arnav looked at the crystal ball in his hands "What are you going to do now?" Akash asked.
Arnav didn't reply.He opened the crystal ball and let Khushi go free.He swallowed as he stared at her glimmering form "You're free now like you should have been in the first place.Khushi I just want to say...I love you.I always will.I completely understand if you choose to never forgive me.I deserve it but Khushi...I know your heart is big.Maybe..perhaps you will forgive me.I just want you to know I will always wait for you.I will never go searching for you.I will forever live in this forest but Khushi...Khushi if you ever find me all by yourself I will take it as a sign you forgave me and want me back in your life.I am a selfish man Khushi" Arnav gave a sad smile "Afterall I was a demon.I love you Khushi"
Light shone from above and an angel came flying down "The soul" she said pointing at Khushi.
Arnav nodded and stepped back.He watched the angel take Khushi under her wing and fly off.He closed his eyes,having that familiar empty feeling inside him settle.
Akash looked at Arnav "You let her go" he said softly.
Arnav opened his eyes.They had turned back to their normal dark brown color.He swallowed "Yeah.Khushi had once told me if you let go of something and it doesn't come back it was never yours but if it does it always belonged to you"
"So you are going to wait?" Payal asked.
"My whole life if I have to" Arnav answered.

23 Years Later
It had been 23 years since that eventful day.Arnav had made NK King because NK was a xerox copy of their father,fair in everything he did.Arnav had given his powers to NK and remained an immortal human on Earth.He continued collecting flowers and berries in hope of Khushi's return.
It was one fateful morning.Arnav was out in the forest finished collecting his red roses and putting them together in a bouquet.Arnav stood up and wrapped a string around the stems of the flowers to keep them in place.
"Wow those are so pretty" he heard a familiar feminine voice.
Arnav turned around .There stood Khushi in her beautiful glory "Y-You can h-have them" he stammered.
Khushi smiled brightly "Thank you!" she exclaimed as she took the bouquet from him.She caressed the flowers "I love red roses.They are so beautiful" she stared at Arnav "Hi.I am sorry if I disturbed you.It's just I love the green environment and the forest is so beautiful" she stuck out her hand "My name is Khushi"
Arnav carefully placed his hand in hers and treasured the moment she wrapped her fingers around the back of his hand.Arnav looked into her eyes as if trying to find her soul "I am Arnav"
