Anshuman on his true love

The Panditji that Lavanya had chosen was very well known. He was known to be well versed in the scriptures, rituals, and possessed special divine powers as a result of his spiritual efforts. Indeed it was said he could even converse with the departed soul and inform the family whether their loved one was at peace following the Havan.

The Pandit started performing the Havan. When it came time for Lavanya to repeat the mantras after him and make her offerings to the departed soul, the flames of the sacred fire extinguished. The Pandit looked at Lavanya and said "What kind of a joke are you playing on me? The departed soul of your brother wants you to respect his wife, your Bhabhi too and not him alone."

Lavanya was perplexed. Pakhi too was taken aback but thinking back at how Lavanya treated her, she thought perhaps Anshuman was chiding her. They informed the priest that since Pakhi was there too they could recommence the rituals giving Pakhi the place of honor as Anshuman's departed wife.

So, the Pandit started the Havan all over. This time around too when Lavanya began the offering the sacred flames extinguished. The Pandit meditated for a minute then he turned around and asked Lavanya "Is Pakhi your brother's real wife? I mean was you brother married to another lady?"

Lavanya said yes and explained to the Pandit about how Anshuman ended up having two wives. One dead and the other being Pakhi.

The Pandit took a deep breath and answered, "Your brother Anshuman, considers his dead wife as his only true love, his soul-mate. Today being Karwa Chauth he wants you to honor both of them. Anshuman does not consider Pakhi as his wife. Please do not misunderstand me but Pakhi memsahib you have to leave if this Havan has to be a success"/

Pakhi walked away in relief. Relief that what she knew in her heart was true. She never truly belonged to Anshuman. Anshuman was just a soul with whom she had some karma to work out.. Pakhi knew for sure her heart was given to the right man, her soul mate Veer. She did not know when she stopped walking and when she began to run. She did not know whether her feet touched the ground for indeed she was flying. She flew to rest in Veer's arms!! ❤️

Nice! OS Anoone...I never thought that Anshuman's dead wife could have been his soul mate...but that is possible.
Loved the ending you had me smiling at that .

Thank you Vinnie 😊

I wanted a win-win solution for the story. So, I thought it best that Anshuman also be united with his soul-mate. 😉

Meena you have got a good imagination in turning or twisting the story in an interesting way not spoiling the main story line of Tumhari Paakhi...Clap

The dilemma Paakhi was facing between Anshuman and Veer will solved and Paakhi will come out of confused mind

How Lavanya is going to react at it...??😊😲

We love to read you OS as the story develop in TPSmile

Thank you Anasuya 😊

Yes this would be a good solution for Pakhi.

I have one question though - why is the priest putting sindoor on the forehead of Anshuman's widow?

That occurred to me too Anonee
Also why was Pakhi the widow wearing white with red/orange in it while Lavenya was wearing pure white. Surely it should wearing pure white for that haven.

Agree, Pakhi should have been wearing pure white.

Also she was wearing a backless blouse 🤔

A widow who in her mind is still wedded to her dead husband has a man for a room mate and flaunts her strapless back to all the men in the world!! That one is new to me

I did not spot the backless blouse. Also the Pujari should apply chandan tikka not a red one.

Perhaps the makers were trying to reflect the battle between Pakhi's conscious and sub-conscious mind - conscious mind says she is Ansuman's widow but sub-conscious mind knows that she is no longer his widow but a married woman (regardless whether there is any martial relationship between them because marriage is milan of 2 souls and minds)

Excellent point!!👏 That is the best explanation for the depiction -- the conflict in Pakhi's mind!!
