A couple of pointers

1. People like Ali are self professed guardians of the Indian culture. They themselves violates the culture more than anyone else.

2. Culture is not stagnant it is ever evolving and fluid.

3. Sonali is an adult and she is not doing anything illegal. So only people who can object to her moral values are her parents, her partner i.e her boyfriend or the boy himself i.e. Gautam. No one and mind you no one else has any right or reason to object.

This is a show on National TV.

Sonali has done much bolder scenes and no one can oppose to that. It's her bread and butter and she can pose nude if she has to - nobody will say anything to her.

But in Bigboss. When you are being watched by others and we will object to it, cos as a viewer I feel uncomfortable watching such scenes with my mum. Now, don't tell me she is an adult and all that jazz... I know she is, but there is a thing called respect. When white people go to Islamic places for holidays like in Morocco, Abu Dhabi etc they show some respect to their culture. Similarly, at the moment I haven't seen Sonali and Gautum do anything outrageous but if they started making out in Bigboss, I object to that as a viewer.

yes im aware ... inadvertently he may have used the word culture in wrong way ... but yes what he said was right ... even i didn't expect him to say this to sonali, lol even arya's comment about sing same song to two girls wasn't expected!
but yes cultures are different as sonali n upen have grown up in different environments, whether the family is liberal or not does matter in shaping them! n ultimately ali has said he knows both upen n sonali so he does know somethgs about both n how their families might react to this, sonali herself has mentioned few times that my parents wont like it seeing such n such things, it shows she is well aware of her parents standards therefore she just plain simple should not do those things!

but anyways these hms tend to say one thing n then do the opposite, I just would appreciate it if they didn't take the audience intelligence forgranted
