deepali reminds me of....

Alka Yagnik...

sweet voice, very much in sur but sometimes lacking soul...Alka's renditions are flawless...she is the typical Indian heroine voice but I feel she renders her songs monotonously sometimes...song after song the same sweet perfection makes you crave for something which is different...a Sunidhi Chauhan maybe...

Same is for Deepali...she has a good voice...is performing fabulous...I will be happy if she reaches top 3 or even becomes the idol...but a spark is lacking in her voice in her personality...unlike an Ankita maybe who makes you look forward to her performances...or even a Puja who has this twang in her voice that reminds you of some yester year greats...
