Losers in Love

They say fame never lasts forever and sometimes that's the case with relationships too in Bollywood.

John Abraham is the latest victim in the long list to have been left behind - what with Bipasha declaring her single status in ten years.

Sometimes the reasons for being dumped are irreconcilable differences or finding a better romantic deal elsewhere.

Although mostly everyone moves on the pain of being abandoned is a recurring reminder.

We look at some of the "biggest losers" in love.

Vivek Oberoi

When you're with one of the most beautiful women in the world, getting dumped has to be hard on the knees.

Vivek was dating Aishwarya Rai, but though she maintained they were 'just friends' for the public record, but Vivek couldn't stop boasting about it.

This led to her leaving him in the cold.

Of course we're sure Vivek will be able to bag another beauty in the future. No Problems!

Saif Ali Khan

After the separation from his wife Amrita Singh, Saif Ali Khan found love with the gorgeous Italian model Rosa.

But after surviving the chest pains woke up to find that he had been left by her for his domineering ways.

We know Saif's no owner of a lonely heart… he'll find someone prettier soon.

Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek may have won the heart of the elusive Ash, but he too was dumped once upon a time.

The one who did the deed was none other than Karisma Kapoor.

Karishma abandoned their high-profile engagement, an incident that left the Sr. Bachchans red-faced and their sonny Abhishek hurt.

Salman Khan

Salman's romance with Aishwarya was born on sets of a film they did together in 1998.

But soon after the relationship started seeing cracks in them, trouble was Salman's a possessive guy… a little too possessive.

After getting fed up with his ways, Aishwarya dumped him.

Although he may feel the pinch once in a while, we're sure he's found happiness in his next fair-skinned beauty Katrina Kaif.

Shipa Shetty

Before becoming the talk of the town and the planet Shilpa was a Bollywood actress to have found moderate success in Bollywood.

After a couple of hits, she seemed to be finding it hard to select the right kind of films for herself.

Along with a floundering career imagine her despair when big her catch Akshay Kumar also decided to get away from her.

But with her recent comeback you can tell Shilpa is back stronger than ever.

Rekha

When people began singing praises about the onscreen Amitabh-Rekha jodi, there were strong rumors of the romance spilling into real-life.

It's also said Rekha was very adamant on being together, but since Amitabh was already married, it had no future.

It's said Rekha is still reeling from the effects of being left behind.

Dino Morea

In the early stages of their career Dino Morea was dating the super beauty Bipasha Basu.

But then she dumped him and moved onto another super hunk John Abraham.

Ever since Dino has been looking for steady love, but has been finding it hard to find.

Dipannita Sharma

Dipannita must've felt like a princess to have been wooed by the prince of Bollywood.

But after a relationship that lasted 10 months she was taken back to earth as Abhishek Bachchan decided to be the one to leave her as well.

Upen Patel

Upen might not be doing so great on the film front, but his break up with model-anchor Shamita Singha was spicy enough to make big news.

Of course rejection is hard to take, so Upen confronted Shamita and threw his drink on her face… ouch! But we're pretty sure that he isn't brooding right now, considering he was recently rumored to have been getting cozy with Bollywood biggie Tabu.

Aftab Shivdasani

Aftab began seeing the beautiful model cum item girl Yana Gupta began dating towards the end of 2006 but now word on the street is; that it's gone kaput.

Along with a failing career, Aftab will have to deal with a broken heart too.

Raveena Tandon

Along with being a hot couple onscreen, Raveena and Akshay Kumar shared a fiery romance off screen too.

They were together for long enough to reach the marriage podium when Akshay called it all off under the pretext of unwilling parents.

Well a break off is just that no matter what the reason!

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt landed himself in a big soup during his marriage to Rhea Pillai.

He was one of the people accused of partaking in the 93 Bombay bomb blasts.

This kind of accusation obviously led to a major strain in their relationship and ended in them moving apart.

Though it must've been hard at first we're sure Sanju baba is okay now.

Amrita Singh

The Saif-Amrita jodi was ridiculed in the media as she being the domineering one and he being the domineered.

Seeing Saif now it's hard to believe that there was any truth to that.

But it was he who decided to leave his wife.

Something that's got to hurt for someone on the receiving end!

Parveen Babi

Parveen Babi had been in relationships with some married men of the industry, but her most publicly-known affair was with director Mahesh Bhatt.
This is because after the relationship the filmmaker made two films about their love story Arth in 1981 and Woh Lamhe in 2006.

However before the release of her second film Parveen had already passed away.

Riya Sen

Before John got with Bips, he was dating the petite beauty Riya Sen.

But as Bips left Dino as did John leave Riya behind.

Now Riya says she is pretty sick of the whole dating game.

But we're sure time will be enough to change her mind.

Rani Mukherjee

Once upon a time, Rani was a strong contender to become the Bachchan bahu, but then suddenly out of the blue came Ash.

Of course there's no smoke without fire… there must've been something cooking between them for such thoughts to have spawned.

But since nothing ever became of this, it amounts as a dump! The Bachchan's aren't the only powerful film family, there's the Chopra's too…

Tabu

The no-nonsense Tabu had her engagement called off to producer Sajid Nadiadwala when she began professing her affection for the south actor Nagarjuna.

Though neither of those relationships ever fully blossomed and now we have reports of her getting cozy with Upen Patel!

Randeep Hooda

Randeep was very smitten with the former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen.

But soon enough she moved on and left Randeep to deal with the situation.

Now all he has to look forward to is his work...
