I am not too good with letters .. so here goes nothing:
I began following the show a couple months after it went on air... and it is surreal sometimes to look back and realize it has been five and half years since your debut. So much has changed since then in your life, and yet .. you havent.. and I love that about you.
I love your positivity and your fierce loyalty to all the things and people who have made your life special.
I am proud to see you transform yourself into a seasoned actor that you are today.
As a fan, I hope to see you again on-screen soon... be it dancing, acting, walking the ramp, photoshoots , endorsements.. You are amazing in anything that you do..

Dear Ankita,

The first time I saw you was June 2009 in the title montage of Pavitra Rishta, but I'll have to admit that back then it was the guy behind you who caught the attention and affection of my teenaged heart. Now, five and half years later, things are quite different. Understanding you, from the perspective of a fan, was a long and slow process. But, somewhere along the way in these past few years, everything clicked. Your personality, your actions, your reactions, every thing you do suddenly made sense, and I am so thankful that it happened. It's hard to put into words how watching and observing you has affected me as a person, but I would like to try...

Out of the thousand things that I admire about you, one of them is that you lead by example. You don't just talk about being relaxed or friendly or taking life one day at a time... you actually do it! For me, that's one of the most inspiring things about you. Watching you made me realize what kind of person I want to be and actually do something about it. Nobody's personality has ever affected me in that way before; your positivity is so radiant that I didn't realize when it happened, but I am so glad it did. I can clearly see how warm you are to everyone, how you forgive people who may have wronged you, how you stand up for yourself and your loved ones, and how you do it all with a clean heart. You have shown time and again that you are not just a brilliant actress or dancer, but a warm and genuine person, and that's what makes me really love you.

Back in 2009 my mother, grandmother, and I were watching Pavitra Rishta together one day. It was the episode where Archana and Manav went on their first date; my family could not stop commenting on how good-looking the two of you individually were and what a sweet pair Archana and Manav made. Fast forward to this past summer - my mother, grandmother, and I were watching the show together, again. We hadn't watched it all sitting together since 2009, but there you were, beautiful as ever and still putting the same amount of passion into your work. You were always there giving your all; no matter how insane the storylines became or how long or short your set of dialogues were, you were consistently there for your viewers.

I won't say much about your professional credentials - you should already know that you are extremely talented and amazing at every single thing you do. I have no idea about what you will do in the future, but I do know that you will do your very best at it and continue to inspire people like me. However, don't take this as any kind of goodbye, because I am definitely not done with you yet! I am going to be right here, waiting for your next project, and your wedding pictures, and your babies, and pretty much anything else that will happen.

This journey with Pavitra Rishta may have started on a superficial level (darn Sushant and his cute smile), but I am coming away from it with so much more than I could have ever imagined. You are one of my top inspirations; your personality, your career, you personal life, everything motivates me to be better. Thank you so so so much for always being yourself and sharing your personality with your fans, I wouldn't want it any other way.

Dear Ankita,

I knew nothing about you when I started watching Pavitra Rishta in 2009 but it didn't take you much time to make me fall in love with Archana. I believed you were just like your onscreen character until I watched you in SBB/SBS segments. And I fell in love with you a thousand times more. You are a riot...So full of life and positivity. You make us laugh with your antics. You make us love you even more with your warmth. I am glad that I not only got to know you as Archana and Ankita but also for the incredible person you are in real life.

You carried Pavitra Rishta on your shoulders for five and a half years so beautifully. You welcomed everyone who joined the cast with open arms. Even when the episodes were downright bad because of poor writing, you made them worth watching due to your performance. You made Pavitra Rishta your own...the show will be associated with Ankita Lokhande in the years to come and I am glad that it will be the case.

Whether you were Archana or Ankita...you took to the roles like fish does to water. Your versatility as an actress shined when Archana and Ankita were in the same scene and yet they seemed two different people. You not only had beautiful chemistry with your heroes - Sushant, Hiten and Karan - but also with other characters. You were a loving daughter to Sulochana, a patient daughter-in-law to Savita, a wonderful mother to Purvi and a protective sister to Mansi. You just shined in every role that you played.

But I got to say girl, you were just absolutely BRILLIANT playing a woman madly in love. You made us believe that nobody could love the way you did. You made your heroes even more special by the way you loved them. Agar koi pyaar kare toh Archana aur Ankita jaise kare...

I feel even in real life you love and care for people the way Archana and Ankita do. It is so evident that you love Sushant immensely...even more than yourself. I hope and wish that the love and bond that you two share continues for a lifetime and beyond. For me, Pavitra Rishta has not ended and it never will. I want to see lil Mingus in the future. A girl with your curly hair and a boy with his cheeky smile. My Mingu dreams.

I am excited to see what you come up with next. I want you grow as an artiste. Success will just follow.

I can never explain in words, how much I love you. Today I would like to pour my heart out, to let you know, what you mean to me.

Initially I knew you as your character Archana only, but when I actually got to know the real Ankita Lokhande through the sbs/sbb segments, I fell in love with you. All the masti that you did with your co actors in those segments were a treat to watch. The more I came to cognize about you, the deeper I fell in love with you. Watching you onscreen always brought a smile on my face.

Your bindaas attitute, your nature, your smile, and last but not the least your pretty face makes you so special..

I remember, my maths teacher had suggested me to watch this show..Later on both of us became die hard fan of yours . we were madly in love with Archana, she was so simple, yet always looked gorgeous. You looked so pretty even the simple cotton sari .I am happy that I got to see you play different characters in one show. You were superb as the young Archana, the old Archana and Ankita Karmarkar. You made the characters very special.

Watching Pavitra Rishta became a daily routine for me. Archana became an integral part of my life. I smiled when something good happened in her life, I cried when Archu had to cry. I still remember the day when I cried like a little kid, while watching the scene when Manav had left after the miscarriage, and Archana was running with a letter in her hand. I cried nonstop

when you were on a break for few months. I also took a break from the show.It was impossile for me to watch PVR without you.. Pavitra Rishta for me was watching you daily onscreen.

Its been a jouney of five and a half years, and I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving us those happy moments. Thank you so much for the wonderful time ..You are truly the star of Pavitra Rishta.

I am very happy for you and Sushant. Both of you are perfect for each other and make a wonderful couple.Wish both of you a very happy and successful life.

Today was a very emotional day, I am going to miss you very much Ankita. The show has ended, but our journey with you continues...Hope to see you soon my rockstar.

Dear Ankita,

Began watching PR in 2010..I.watched the offscreen qawali segment with yourself,Sushant, Usha and other actors..I laughed so much..I went and watched the first episode of PR after the segment..and then there was no going back . You looked beautiful in your introduction scene..you gave your best then and you gave it your best now as the young and old Archana and as Ankita Karmarkar. You have definetly have grown into a versatile actress ..Archana will always be remembered. Loved all the different styles of clothes you experimented for your character Archana and Ankita especially the curly hair it really suited you.

I loved the chemistry between you and your heroes Sushant, Karan and Hiten both onscreen and offscreen. More than onscreen I preferred seeing you offscreen . you made us laugh with your antics and bindas attitude. You were amazing in all the dance performances. Always be the way you are..as a fan would love to see you back onscreen soon on watever platform you are comfortable with. Although would.love to see you doing ads and more photoshoots. Keep tweeting and good luck with BCL and have fun.
