What an episode. Enjoyed the Aman-Neha interactions. Anuj is doing a fab job of lighting up the moment Aman sees Neha vis a vis Akansha. His whole demeanor changes. Neha can't help herself either.😆 The spark is OBVIOUS to all but the OBTUSE or OBLIVIOUS.
What made this episode a repeat watch, however, is the way Aman stood up to his mom. Akansha is great but, not the one for him and he doesn't want the kind of husband-wife relationship his parents had. Thoroughly appreciated the cutting comment from him about "zimnedar wife" which his mother was vs the lifelong friendship & connection which will make him happy. Bonus was his confidence that Neha would be able to handle the responsibilities of a marriage. 👍🏼

Unpredictable - the sister in law knows Aman's haal-e-dil... how will she react? So far she has not been outright black and her shocked reaction is consistent with what she overheard - Aman having a change of mind and heart about something that will impact both her sister-in-laws. Even Aman's sisters efforts to console Akansha and Akansha's realization were apt. Aman prior verbal assurances vs. the reality that he does love Neha surely hurts. Last, but not least while Aman's mom is strict she isn't rigid beyond reason. She heard him out and did not forge ahead with the sagaai. Nor did she take out her frustration on Neha despite Aman's 180 degree turn.

Putting aside my disappointment for Neha/Aman getting married so soon, I liked the episode, and the whole process which Aman went through to finally taking a stand to marry Neha. It wasn't dragged, and neither was it an immediate realisation. He questioned his feelings, he realised the happiness that Neha brings to him, his importance in Neha's life (her keeping the cricket ball) & finally understood that he can never be as happy with Akansha. And the final straw - confronting his mother. Hats off to the way it was handled. And of course, hats off also to Akansha & Neeta for not forcing Aman despite their dream of wanting Aman/Akansha to get married. They care for Aman, & thought of his happiness first, instead of selfishly going through with everything.

Neha/Aman's bond is something that not everyone can understand. Aman's mother reacted the way most people will react. Marriage is seen as such a huge responsibility & big step in our lives, that often the importance of love & friendship between a couple is underplayed. Rather, what is at the forefront (what everyone considers) is whether the couple look good together, whether they can match up to each other etc. Everything on a very artificial basis, which again has no guarantee. Aman, on the other hand, emphasised on what is most important. Two people understanding each other, loving each other. Neha's child-like behaviour or the idea of compatibility does not matter to him. Because if two people are happy together (they like each other the way they are) all that Aman's mum is worrying about would never even be a problem.

Regarding Shagun overhearing everything, I am guessing that she will be the one to inform the family before even Aman's family comes to them. I don't know why she was made to hear the conversation really because Akansha/Aman have already spoken & even if Aman were to now decide not to marry her, she shouldn't be too shocked. She already got the inclination of it.

Sorry for the long post..I have a tendency to go on & on😆

My opinion is everyone questions will come in to play once they are married. That is why I say let the writers unfold the story. Aman and Neha will both learn from each other it is not going to easy but Neha's outlook on life is going to help them. So far I have enjoyed this serial more than I thought I will.

I am so glad he did!! I was tired of him not being able to stand up for himself or stand up for anyone else.
