Why can't Urmi explain to Shaurya

I am surprised why cannot Urmi just explain to Shaurya why his father is wrong? Okay he doesn't have to be told about adultery and one night stands but the boy can be explained how his father never treats his mother with care and respect, how he always screams at her, insults her, how he has tried to trouble them. He too has seen it. Moreover when Urmi was beaten up, he must have seen her in such a state. So she can clearly cite that example that she was beaten up by his father who always tries to take him away from her and thus she cannot go to live with him. A child does not need to be explained the details or the reasons of the abuse, he or she can understand the abuse or whether his mother is being treated nicely. This even leads to psychological effects in children. Even a dog can understand the mentality of the people in the house and Shaurya is such a bright child. Surely he can understand why Urmi doesn't want to go back if she explains with care that Samrat always scolds and beats her. It would be traumatizing for the child no doubt, but would at least stop the long term effects of the treatment Samrat is doing. He will make him Samrat Junior.Instead of crying and refusing to tell anything about why you can't go back, you are pushing him more towards Samrat.

I agree with you for the most part, but I can see why Urmi is keeping Shaurya out of the loop. As bright as he is, Shaurya is still super young. Having a father like Samrat and finding out what his father really is can be super damaging to him when he grows up. I think Shaurya did understand that his mother wasn't being treated well. He mentioned that to Samrat didn't he?

At the time, when Urmi left the house with him originally, she didn't really need to explain everything to Shaurya. He already understood that his dad didn't treat his mother well. Hence why Shaurya left with his mother (along with the fact that he loves her more and she's more open with her love towards him). I doubt that she thought Samrat would use his own son as a pawn. Remember, she kept warning and asking Samrat to keep Shaurya out of it.

I don't think an explanation is going to suffice for Shaurya anymore. The reason he's with Samrat today, is because of the way Samrat is "proving" that he's better than Urmi. Not only has Shaurya heard stuff from his father, but he's also seen "evidence" of his mom keeping him away from his father. Hence why he's with Samrat. Even if Urmi tries to explain to him why she left his dad, Shaurya will want evidence. I think with time, Shaurya will eventually go back to his mother. Samrat cannot keep up the charade of a loving father forever. And plus Shaurya, as much as he loves Mandira and his other family members, loves his mother more. And also, within the house, Shashi will probably be the one to whom Shaurya's responsibility will be handed too, and Shaurya doesn't even like her that much. Once Samrat starts acting up (which should be soon cause Samrat's mental balance has been questionable for a while), Shaurya will leave and go back to Urmi.

Mainly because Shaurya is a child & being a mother Urmi just couldn't drag him into all these . As every parent should do , Urmi wants to keep Shaurya way out of her problems. Yup , explaining all those might convince him to stay with her , but that kind of knowledge will destroy his childhood, he'll be forced to grow up when he should enjoy his childhood. As a mother , Urmi is perfectly right on her ground . It's just sheer misfortune that Samrat doesn't have a single paternal bone in his body . He doesn't care a damn what all these will do to Shaurya , he just wants to snatch him away from Urmi & doing his best to manipulate the kid . But being a mother in true sense Urmi couldn't do that . Urmi is kinda helpless in this situation, coz she just can't stoop to Rat's level & being good too didn't help her . It's kinda ektaraf kua dusri taraf khai situation for her 😔

Yeah I know Shaurya is still a baby. But he had seen his mother being ill treated by her father and I remember he had even asked once whether Samrat had again beaten her up( during the change of heart drama of Samrat)... So Urmi can simply just say that his father doesn't treat her well. Not a word more on the details. The child has been supportive throughout and understands his mother quite well and has never even left her side for a second. Even when Sushma used to talk to Urmi rudely Shaurya wouldn't like that. No chils, however small, wouldn't like his mother being treated badly. Samrat has just brainwashed him. Urmi has to do something or she will lose her child forever to Samrat and that would be too bad for the child psychologically.

As of now if the child asks why can't you go back and Urmi says I can't tell you, Shaurya will feel Samrat is right and Urmi is wrong because she has no reason. She has to say him something in a sugar coated way so that the child is brought back to the right path again. He has been just brainwashed by material goods..

Sugar coated words don't work on Shaurya. That's part of the problem. Shaurya is extremely bright and perceptive. Samrat was smart with his approach to Shaurya. It's not just material things that attracted Shaurya. Samrat, along with giving Shaurya material things, gave Sharuya his full attention and time. He spent full days with Samrat, totally carefree. Samrat was loving, encouraging, supportive, etc. And not only that, Samrat reunited Shaurya with Mandira and co. (whom he was really missing).

Urmi, on the other hand, due to circumstances, is not able to provide him with the same time, support, and encouragement. As a working woman, she's busy trying to make a life for herself and him and thus could not give him all her time (like he was used to when Urmi was a housewife). Also, being responsible, she makes Shaurya go to school and disciplines him. We as viewers and adults, can understand she does this for his benefit. But Shaurya is a kid and does not think of it this way/ the future. All he sees is that his mother nags him, gets angry at him, etc. Urmi is also keeping Shaurya away from Mandira and co (although in reality, Kanchan and others can also be blamed and it is really for Shaurya's best influence because they all live with Samrat and Shaurya needs to be kept away from him).

So although Urmi has been the responsible mother, Shaurya isn't seeing that.

Honestly tho, I'm pretty sure that Shaurya will be back with Urmi eventually, especially if she remains strong and stays away from Samrat. Samrat will go back to his brutish ways and Shaurya will crave his mother again.

Kids should never been involved in such a mess. Shaurya is too young. But Samrat being the rat that he is, has totally brainwashed his child and used him in his dirty game.

I don't blame Urmi. What can she do?
