It takes a lot of guts to admit this on national television, so hats off to Sushant. And total respect for his parents who have accepted it. Clearly it has not changed how they feel for their son and that is wonderful to see. I also appreciate Salman Khan for mentioning Sushant and his parents in Sunday's special.

Its not that easy as it looks but yeah full credit to Sushant's parents esp. being Indian to accept this is so hard we all know that.

Right here in the United States we have so many parents abandoning their children because they turn out to be gay. I've known people whose parents haven't spoken to them for ages. An acquaintance was kicked out of the house at 15 by his parents and went through high school staying with other friends.

So for parents in India to embrace their son completely is really impressive. What I like most is they don't see him as different' for being gay. They focus on his accomplishments and talents. They treat him no different than any parents would treat their kids.

It is also true, parents who build a good open rapport with their kids end up raising more responsible children. Most of the kids I know who screwed up actually had strict conservative parents. In my friend group the kids whose parents allowed dating and hanging out with boys ended up studying long, building careers and then settling into good marriages. The one who ran away and married an abusive guy had the strictest parents.

Whattt?...so if kids confess to being xyz it should be ok with parents ...has the world lost their marbles...

Dad...I am a rapist...no probs
Mum...I am a murderer...that's ok honey
Papa...I am a sodomite...that's ok

Don't forget...just a few years ago..in our parents lifetime...sodomy or homosexual behaviour was punishable by law in Europe ..just because recently they have become acceptable doesnt make it ok...just like they are now relaxing laws for pedophiles now so that men can use boys as young as 4...even if it becomes legal...will that make it ok

The world is so lost to the devil that I am sure many disillusioned people will come and say being gay is ok...crazy..

Hats off to Sushant and his parents: Salman Khan

In a segment where Salman spoke about confessions of the housemates, he appreciated Sushant's confession where he spoke about his gender preferences to his parents. And all the more he appreciated his parents for accepting him the way he is! We heard Salman saying, "this is a lesson for children who lie to their parents. Moreover it is a lesson for parents, they should be friends with their children. This way children will never go on a wrong path."

Salman Khan 👍🏼
