Have just read this article that said, UTV had bought Peekay at 118 crore. Add 20-25 crore for promotion... UTV would have to make near 320 cr worldwide to recover its money. On the other hand, Eros had bought Action Jackson at 95 cr. (including satellite right). That means Action Jacktion is going to be a hit movie. They'd only need to make 140 cr. worldwide to recover cost.

UTV kept Mumbai, Delhi/UP's distibution rights and sold most of the other ones.

This sounds just about right, this website had gotten CE's budget of 130 crores right too.

Hmm.. That means UTV made at least 50-60 cr. profit. That's very impressive.
