Gul knows fan psycchology better than I thought :))

Romance is Guls strongest forte so she lured us into Q2 with this beautiful love story of Sahil and made sure she did everything right with regards to criticisms that were thrown at her regarding Q1 so once again there was a solid fandom that is willing to put up with most of what ever she has in mind and what ever she wants to try with regards to the drama quotient.

So Sahil was established and ofcourse she got the strong fandom for it...Then she introduced her first drama quotient that she has in mind...which was the twin... the news of this is released sometime before hand to prepare fans...
Initially fans are worried what this would mean for their Sahil...but their love for the jodi keeps them optimistic that nothing that would affect the lead love story would be tried because she had been doing eveything right so far...so we told each other that even if the identical twin is there it would be just for drama and not another love story...so won't affect the lead story...

Then Gul started giving vibes of the love story for the other twin because there is still something else she has in mind with regards to the drama that needs to be played out...again another bout of worrying and hair pulling by fans but we ended up consoling ourselves that the story would be developed slowly and it won't affect their main loved jodi and this would actually add extra flavour with the parallel love story blah blah...

And then Bam, the twin love story just hits us at jet speed and ...yup once again we pat each other on the back...ofcourse the other twin also has the right to a happy life and love and even when it get paralleled with their favourite jodi and even though we made a few hoo has about this, we came round eventually...here she gave another dose of Sahil to pacify the fans before she continues with her next surprise drama.

So here goes another round of spoilers about something big and exciting on the horizon along with spoilers about a dreaded swap that fans have been agitating about from the onset of the news about the identical twin.
And we were again positive that the swap was unlikely because it has been talked about too much and were confident that even if it did happen our Hero would be made to sniff it out in 2 minutes flat because he "knows his love inside out" and "he would have this connection" that he would not feel with the other twin, and that "his love is not skin deep" with just one touch he would figure out the fake etc...infact we covered the whole "illogical" and "magial"l ove story vibes and connections that would come into play here... we even wrote OS's to make ourselves feel good about how this would be played out talking about exactly these "illogical" happenings that would help out our hero...So we were good and prepared.

Now Gul gives us the swap...but this time she has a bit more drama she wants to bring in along with it...the twin love stories are getting meshed up, the leads have been separated, and infact the illogical connections that we were sure would help out our hero in identifying the fake twin is no where in sight and even if the twins does not know anything about each other the fake one is still able to talk exactly like the hero's wife so far enabling for the further dragging out of the track becasue as per Gul there is still more she wants to explore with MU's and jealosy tracks and angst fot both the twin love stories as per spoilers...so what does the fans do?...we fall back to logic to explain why gul is not showing the connection that would help out in identifying the fake twin...because...its "illogical"...NOW we realize that even though this is fiction and although the show is riddled with nonsense already we want logic to play out here as Gul has thrown in something else that seems very entertaining in the mean time... the opportunity for the Q1 loyal fans to see their hated vamp being tourtued by one of their beloved asya daughters...and we fall in hook, line and sinker.

So what can we expect from us when the spoilers about MU's between the love stories to extend and drag out this track, hit us between the eyes...OFCOURSE we crib a bit once again but we will come around no doubt...and gul surely would have something up her sleeve as well.

As for me, I crib a bit more than other because I'm new to fandoms...but I'm getting there fast enough.😆

I agree dear. But my post is mostly about the IF fandom here not the TRP audience.😉
IF is where the majority of the hardcore fans are so I was talking about them to be precise. I mean just look around here except for just a few occasions majority have gone along with whatever is thrown at us.
So until the TRP audiance "talks" when the ratings come, gul keeps doing what she wants to do with us.

By the way so far pretty much almost all the spoilers about the swap has come true except for the slap...I actually feel we might even get this one...in a different way with Seher getting slapped by Ahil once he finds out about his Sanam...frankly I wouldn't mind this one too much because she deserves more than just a couple of tight slaps for the way she has been behaving IMO.

I really don't understand why Gul is showing her in such a bad light here, I mean even when she found out about that this is Rehan's family she is still going ahead with it...Her greed is overriding EVERYTHING here...

IMO, audience loyalty is not something to be taken for granted anymore.The options for entertainment are endless.

Everyone tries the same formula,get people hooked a couple and separate them and show all kinds of illogical twists in between and expect the original addicts to hang around waiting for the reunion.

I think,fans are resisting this constant manipulation,otherwise a show should always maintain the high rating they reach while the couples are getting established. I can cite Zee's EMA & Color's RR's recent failures as examples.

Adult fans are not kids,they'll move on, if they feel cheated and are deprived of their daily dope.It's a two way street, makers figure out what fandom wants & withhold it, hoping eager fans will wait for years in anticipation, fans take a break for months and come back(maynot) to see what they want to see is shown, towards the end of the show. Atleast i do😆.

I stopped watching QH after JaNu SR regularly for me AsYa lost their charm when their trust was shown weaker than the vamp's ploy.I got hooked to few other shows,some better than QH .I got back for Kv & the new story,i've stopped again post confession.Who knows may or may not retune?.

IMO Gul can't take fans for granted and keep playing with their feelings and expect them to hang around.She refused to get AsYa married and when she relented I don't know how many tuned in for the Taj wedding.I bet it was way less than those who sat thr' the original wedding promo.

I say,have a story and tell it honestly.Be creative not manipulative.

Other show with another magical couple is just a click away.

ohh I have the answer to that, the trp dipped pretty low the week of the wedding, despite a lot of promotions and promos.

Even in IF fandom, if you observe,people move on.You'll hardly find the same fans sticking thr' an entire show,lapping up whatever is dished out.

We start liking a character & if that character is progressively compromised for the sake of twists,we end up hating the very character,not liking the twist. TV fans are fickle and fandom is character driven here,unlike BW which is more personality driven.

Sehar- IMO,they are getting carried away in tanu torture and the humshakal biwi drama .She is already butchered and when they try to pickup Sehan from where tehy left off,it's gonna irritate SeHAn fans too.

The swap is a bad way to get her into the mansion.I wish she was brought in as Rehan's Hindu bride and started her digging around like Zoya.

Oh that's good to know. I haven't been around the forum for long so I seem to be jumping the gun here it seems.
I'm glad to know that Gul is not able to manipulate us fans for long...so once Sahil starts to go down hill seriously I guess most of us are going to leave as well...but I so hope before anything like this happens TRPs would straighten out things for us because i want to see Sahil story completed nicely.

I think more than anyone else Gul should have realized this thing when she messed up AsYa by trying her hand at ZoYaan.. I think that was the end of QH 1 fr most of the fans... Even loyal fans could not connect to the love story afterwards...
