See, I would have had no qualms about the storyline and with Gul Khan if she had shown both twins from the very first epi itself. If she had planned on this season being mainly about revenge and/or avenging the first season's main protagonists deaths, she should have established that from the very first episode. Season 2 was always promoted as a love story, at least at the start. She had created a fresh and beautiful new love story, that had managed to rope in viewers. People had the least expectations from this season and it's lead pair. But it worked. So did the lead pair. She also hired a brilliant actor Karanvir Bohra, used him to revive the show and now has reduced his role to a mere cameo. He is the lead, just for namesake.

SaHil got her show the ratings and up in the Top 5 shows across Indian Television. Then the alarm bell rang in her head that wow I must have roped in all the phans now who will stick to the show cause of their mad love for the lead couple. This is my green signal to show the original badlaaa story that I have planned. Brings in Seher. Gives her a love track that more than 90% of the audience couldn't connect with, coupled with another parallel track of her favourite Halala, that occurred due to one of her side actors wanting to quit. As always, she was way too accommodating and changed the damn storyline. Audience were left pulling out their hair as nothing else made sense in the show besides SaHiil.As a result, ratings of this show dropped.

And now she switched the twins. Shipped one of them off to Mars. While the other twin is gonna be arm twisting/abusing the vamp and we are gonna be subjected to some cat and mouse games between them. Mirror image of season 1? Not exactly. Zoya-Tanveer cat and mouse games were pretty cringeworthy to watch and I'm sure this will be too.

Season 1 fans are pretty happy with it though cause finally their most loved Billi is getting a dose of her own medicine. Sure, if this sort of lame shenanigans is what you enjoy watching then by all means, enjoy.😃Personally, not a fan of abuse to anyone in any shape or form, even if it is for Billi. Physical abuse ain't enough to show her her place anyway. She needs some mental torture for sure.😆

Haha, good point about the logic about Aahil not sensing Sanam gone. True that. We are justifying that it is not logical for Aahil not to sense Sanam is gone, while at the same time all this illogical crap is going on simultaneously. This show was never big on logic anyway.😛

Gul should get this fast. She only killed AsYa and started a new season with brand new characters only because Asad and Zoya no longer interested people. Ratings weren't exactly sky high before the leap as some make it out to be. Sure, they dropped after the leap but hey, season 2 didn't get as much promotion as season 1 did it? Nor did anyone have an effing clue about who Aahil and Sanam were. With that regard, they have done pretty darn well. Not to mention, the channel hardly ever bothered promoting the damn show and yet it got into the Top 5 shows. Not a bad feat if you ask me.

As soon as they did gain some popularity and success, Gul went back to her original story.

Now, let us wait and watch how much the audience care for this badlaa track...

As far as the swap part is concerned... I will give it a try cz i think she will take care about the dynamics... But that depends upon the execution... So lets c what is being shown

I hope she had learned her lesson from Q1 but looking at the multiple meandering curves the story had taken since Sahil marriage, I really don't know where the story is heading to be honest. I just hope that she will refrain from completely ruining things this time around...

As for the swap, the way things are I'm not very confident that Cvs will deal with this without at least some cringe worthy scenes for the fans...so I'm keeping away for now...and as I have no interest in watching the seher/Tanveer dinamics I'll come back when Ahil finds out about Seher. I so wanted this time around the exposure of Tanveer to Ahil be by Sanam by her outsmarting the witch at her own game...well I still hope that Sanam will be brought back for this part instead of Seher being the one to do this...
But well that's all water under the bridge now...lets see how things go...

Ha, you seem to be only one in agreement with me about the slap...I also noticed that Rehan slapped her that day when the truth came out while I was skimming through their part...I wonder if I got it right or i was mistaken?????

Today I was thinking back in my mind about how we had dealt with everything that gul had thrown at us during the past 4 months or so. We have practially talked about each and every so called possible twists from the RAHAFA triangle, to Phoopi sas bahu horror, the halala track to the twin love story and also the swap...

Each time we have sniffed out these plots and talked extensively about how disgusting they are and appealed numerous times not to take such a dip in story line...but she just kept throwing them at us...

And pretty much except for RAHAFA story for everything else we have made excuses and made ourselves accept them as not so bad after all...when in reality each and every one of these plots have taken away something out of the original story Gul started with...
For example look what Ahil has been reduced down to...practically he has no family now...since Tanveer is really just a witch she doesn't count anyways...What happened to all those possible tracks...what about Asima, her marriage, Ahils sisters, his Badi Ammi...and that kid of Khala's...these were all that enriched the story of Ahil and all of them have been taken away in return for new story lines and now IM story is just to do with Sahil and Tanveer and now Rehan, Seher, Dilshad and Raziyaa...and occasionally Latheef and Khala Khalu
See now its not IM...but SM as Simran says.

As for the swap, after the confession I REALLY did not expect gul to do this because of all things that could easily go wrong with this track as these are sisters...and also I didn't think after the Sehan love story they would equate Seher with the vamps for the switch to be possible like it did..

I actually dug through earlier posts about what we were saying if a possible switch happened then and how sure we were that Ahil would figure out quickly because of the soutmate kind of vibe gul creates with her leads. Most of Sahil story is dealt with a heavy dose of reality and practicality but the soulmate vibe although surreal have been added to the story from the very beginning...specially when Ahil realized he loved Sanam..Thats why I had all that forum members have said earlier about he swap in quotes in my post here...We were actually talking about these same illogical vibes back then.
I know that Gul is delaying Ahil finding out the truth about Seher for the sake of the drama quotient and she want to keep Seher in IM for sometime...but I just don't trust her to not create some cringe worthy situations for the fans...becasue this swap is even worse than Zoyan as then they all were aware of the whole equation while here Ahil is kept int the dark...

For now I'm just keeping away till Ahil is made aware of Sanam's absence. I just hope they will hurry up because I miss my babies Ahil and sanam so much!
