Is the buzz around PK posters fading?

The posters of Rajkumar Hirani's latest flick, PK, have been riding high on the popularity meters, but there has been a slop in them. If we recall when the first poster featuring Aamir Khan in just a transistor came out, there was a national uproar regarding the same and people from all ages were hooked to reading any news about the poster.

The second poster featuring Aamir Khan in a Band Baaja outfit holding a French horn had people waiting on tenterhooks but did not manage to live up to expectations. And the third poster was released without much fanfare featuring Sanjay Dutt in a similar Band Baaja outfit. The poster also featured Aamir in an oversized police uniform. Even after having Sanjay Dutt on the poster, who was coming back to films after a long time, there wasn't much excitement among the audiences.

But the biggest blow came yesterday when the fourth poster of the film came out which featured Anushka Sharma. There seemed to be absolutely no thrill among audiences. Though, Anushka has been trending on social platforms with celebs tweeting the posters, she somehow couldn't create as much of a hullabaloo as the first poster did. In this poster, Aamir and Anushka were seen in various avatars, all having something unique about them. We liked the variety in the posters, but were unable to figure out what the makers were trying to put forward via them.

It is indeed quite surprising that the PK posters haven't received great responses, given that every poster comes out with something new and unique. Hopefully, the trailer, which will release alongside Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year, will bring back the excitement that gripped the audience at the time of the first poster. What say peeps?
