There is a problem if you want to win it is not necessary to be aggressive always. More often than not you can silence a person by shear logic without even raising your voice, that too even the most egoistic person or the person with heavy attitude. Also a lot of things are not shown as Sushant was telling in the discussion he should not have taunted Diandra on her profession.
