I every1 I am Sandia I am a few episodes behind in the show bt I think the show is good. I have always liked Smriti watched her in karol bagh and always thought she was excellent bt watching her as neha has just been treat. She brings such innocence, spunk, fun and sweetness to the character and at the same time depth which truly makes the character so much more loveable and appealing. This sort of character if given to a bad or inexperienced actor could have turned out sooo horrible coz the line bordering btw total over the topness and being tolerable and at the same time bubbly is a much finer line than other characters on tv who are bubbly. I love hw whenever I think oh god neha is about to get to much with her behavior Smriti brings her back in line and really she just proves what an amazing actress she is I hope she gets lots of awards for this show. The 1 thing that I think the producers have got wrong with her character though was the age that she was when the accident had happened. The way Smriti is portraying the character is that of a child woman/adult this is a child who was at the last few steps of their adult hood. They should have said that she had the accident when she was around 16/17 to have given the character more authenticity. I saw 1 of the members mentioned that neha is like an 8 year old I have 2 cousins around 16/17 and I swear they are just like neha the hugging, the screaming, dancing, the non stop chatter and the energy is just like neha. Bt back to why I think the age they gave her is inapprociate is coz Neha is very much aware of how ppl feel about her and so I dnt think a 14 year old would have that sort of awareness nor would a 14 year old have the emotional maturity to handle some of the things that have been thrown her way. For instance the whole heartbreak the way she hid her emotions from her sister knowing that she cnt reveal it otherwise her sister would be hurt was very mature bt the depth of her emotions when she was alone was that of a proper melodramatic adult teenager whose world has ended once their great romance is over. Bt really I am loving this character the combination of sensitivity and obedience yet naughtiness and brattiness is adorable. Another character that I really like in the show is Shagun at 1st I thought that she was going to be evil bt she turned out to be very bitter- sweet she loves her husband, child and his family. They not very rich and she has to work so probably working and not being able to have everything in life has made her a little bit mean. The actress who plays her is really good she has brought a lot of depth to the character as well so kudos to her. Actually neha's family besides 1 character is a pleasure to watch and they do a really good job once they are given screen time. I especially love dadi and the nephew they adorable and neha's parents the dad especially is a sweet heart. On Aman's side I like his mom she seemed abit nasty at 1st bt she doesn't intend to be mean bt life and making ends meet and having a mil like that old lady has made her into the person she is now. Aman's brother I think is also an interesting character he reminds me of Shagun not the typical member of the family bt good at heart so its going to be interesting to see hw their characters develop in the show and whether they turn grey, negative or totally positive. Now as to the reason I am a few episodes behind even though I was aware when the show was going to started. And the reason is coz I dnt like the sort of shows that rajah shahi makes. most of the shows I have seen of his suck not all but some. And so I was very skeptical to watch this 1. He truly loves his 1st love bidaai and has tried to recreate that magic in a few of his other shows with a similiar storyline. If u have watched bidaai, ccbm, or amrit manthan they had 2 sisters(cousins) marry 2 brothers(cousins) 1 sister is spoilt, cnt cook, believes in love and the other is a mahadevi who does no wrong, no personality, flawless, sees no evil, hears no evil and can be trampled on and is obviously excellent in the kitchen. And the boys family will have lots of evil ppl especially the aunts, cousins brothers and the nasty granny who thinks her family is supreme to others bt loves her family and the whole kitchen drama. but I was coming on the forum since it started and just reading some of the amazing thoughts of the forum members and the way they saw neha I couldn't help myself and watched and I have been hooked on it for the last few days. But still the things that I knew I would dislike are somehow in this show which considering how they have started the show kind of has no place in it and make it extremely ordinary. I think that firstly they should have shown a little more that neha's family isn't that well to do that the toil of paying her hospital bills probably impacted a lot on their financial situation. The whole marriage issue- the helpless simple parents who love their children but are not that rich and have to be subservient to their future in laws is just such nonsense and old and boring. I like neha's parents they extremely sweet howevr I dnt understand hw they could even consider a marriage btw aman and their daughter. His family just like him seem abit cold and his granny is sooo nasty and uncouth and its not as if they are unaware of her nature. I dnt understand why they would even consider the alliance and most importantly they love their daughter I dnt see hw a loving parent would allow their child to get married in a home like that. And I really hope they dnt get neha married to aman tooo soon that would just be pathetic she needs time to adapt to the changes in her life, go back to school meet new ppl. They would be extremely stupid to get her married and make her grow as an individual whilst she is married. It would just be pointless to the originality that they want to bring to the show. Next is the acting and characterisation of certains of the characters. Aman- I think the actor name is anuj if I remem correctly. I watched him a couple of years back in Bebo I thought he was okish to average abit blank bt he seemed like he probably needed time to grow as an actor. I recently watched him in his movie hawai hawa and I thought he was sooo good he gave such a controlled performance and I was really looking forward to watching him with neha. But he has been a disappoint he has made the character lifeless, blank and unintriguing. And the worst part apart from the acting is his hair style yuck such a handsome guy and he is made to look so ugly and nerdish what's wrong with the makeup and stylist totally got his look wrong. Bt I am not saying he aint good he and smriti have really good chemistry and when they together his character is truly adorable. Bt I think he needs to improve his acting to match the fireball he is opposite. Also maybe the producer should probably give him actually scenes where they can bring out his talent coz the scenes when he isn't with smriti dnt require much and he as an actor doesn't bring much to the character in any case to make it special. Bt if they gona continue with not giving his character any importance and bring an actual character to it than please show him shirtless more he is hot lol. Neha sisters I cnt remember her name its probably coz she is such a forgetable character. Really why is that girl sooo depressing looking she bores me everytime she comes on. I cnt wait for her to get married and go far away she doesn't add anything to the show. And I do apologize to her fans bt the actress isn't a bad actress there is nothing wrong with her acting she seems like a good actress. Bt she is just portraying this character lifelessly, there is no energy to the character plus she doesn't make sense half the time and that makes her so unappealing as well. Any1 could have done this role and probably a better actress would have brought more character to the character. And than there is the actress who plays dadi I dnt like her its not coz she is mean to neha or anything like that bt coz the character is just like any other negative character on tv. There is nothing unique or special about her they should have done something more to make this character unique and bearable. Only good thing is her side kick who is desperate for a man sometimes is enjoyable when she isn't with her. These things for me kind of make the show extremely ordinary the background story really needs to match Neha and the actors also needs to match smriti coz at the moment they not. I read an IF article on hw Rajan sees the show and what he wants to create and I really think be4 the show is made totally ordinary he needs to be more involved in the process. At the moment its not like his other shows(even the pathetic 1s) for instance the 1 hour special was totally annoying it felt like they where repeating the same thing over and over again and they didn't have a proper episode. There wasn't a certain crispness and flow to the episode. There seems to be no explanation as to why neha is hated so much by Aman's family, even in the 1 hour special the way those old ladies spoke about neha seemed unnatural and forced. B4 this show gets ordinary I really hope he focuses it on.
