Does anyone else feel that Raman's harsh handling of Romi will have everlasting consequences in the future? Romi is shown to love his brother, but their relationship is on tenderhooks because of the frequent scrapes Romi gets into. However, I don't feel it's right for Raman to thrash Romi so much. Romi is an adult and has to suffer the consequences of his own actions. Hitting him like one hits a child will only create bitterness against his own family, but it won't teach him to improve his behavior. When Mr. and Mrs. Bhalla themselves do not hit Romi, I don't think it's in Raman's place to do so. I'm always left with a bitter taste in my mouth whenever Raman thrashes Romi, because I feel that it'll all come back to hurt Raman (and especially IshRa) in the future.

there are some naive ppl who see stuff like this on TV and think its okay. I worry that some ppl might start beating up their younger siblings watching this damn show. I just wish one day Romi beats the shit out of RKB. He acts he is rich and from a educated background but behaves like a gawaar rickshawallah.

He thinks his way of thinking is correct and he can hit ppl to make them behave, tomorrow he may hit his wife and kid. 😡 He needs to find other ways to tame his brother- like throwing him out and stopping his salary, pocket money etc.

I completely agree, in my opinion, the whole situation is being handled wrongly - or at least that's the impression I'm getting from watching the BTS. They are treating Romi as if he forced/tricked Sarika (and maybe he did and I'm jumping to conclusion - but I doubt it) and Sarika is the victim. Why aren't the both of them confronted together . Slapping Romi and treating him in such a way is only going to alienate him from the family and make him vulnerable to Ashok/Param's advances to help. If anything, they should be treating him as an adult and try to find the best solution to the problem together rather than deciding what that solution should be by themselves.

well...I agree in some extend...
but then mihika...bala...minister's daughter fiasco...he even did a disgusting peeping tom business when mihika was changing her dress during a party...
all this can't be ignored either...when parents are not doing anything to knock sense in romi's head...raman takes the step as his elder brother
infact you are right...romi doesn't need a slap but he should be jailed...
all his wrong deeds deserves a slap
If Mr and Mrs Bhalla gave him this slap to romi in his childhood...romi's life would not been a mess
now sarika is pregnant...its becos of romi...and he is abandoning her in such conditions...such deeds doesn't deserve sitting down and explaining but a slap right across his face

sometimes its based on the situations...and romi wrong deeds are on major stand...as for me...RKB is right to beat the hell out of romi...

it depends on situations...RKB is acting due to the situation romi has created...

but I don't support the slap that raman gave romi during navratri/golu festival...that can be explain or just pull him towards his car and make him sleep

I found it funny...
we saw romi truly falling in love with sarika...going crazy for her
and was even fighting with his mother for her
but out of sudden...from nowhere...sarika is pregnant becos of him
out of sudden he confess that he doesn't love sarika
and all this u-turn 360 degrees of romi's character is for 7.30pm audience...
the cvs has successfully ruined romi's character...due to slapping sprees romi joins hands with ashok-param...its just assassination of romi's character...he was going through a redemption track...out of a sudden back to square one...
this is why I was so against with 7.30pm slot...its loosing charm and they are changing tracks for the particular time slot for the competition of trps...itseriously needs to go back to its original 11pm slot

Yes,it's not always good to let the hands do the talking instead of your tongue. Raman's always slapped him for his deed and now his biwi Ishita too is following the same path. But if you see in Punjabi households, it's very common. We simply can't tolerate if our dear ones have done any grave mistake/crime. We love our dear ones OTT, we punish them hard when they commit any crime. Each time Romi was punished, he didn't just make a mistake; he actually committed a crime. Hence Raman's punishment to him was matching his deeds. I know it was getting overboard but some people just won't listen to you unless you press hard. Romi is also heavily pampered by all (including Raman) in the Bhalla house.
