Honestly, I wrote this story in the midnight when I wasn't able to sleep. I never realized that it will be received so well by you all. Your criticism and praises drive my writing. Thank you for being there as my constant companion in this story.

Running Away, Or Running Into?!?

Madhubala Mallick, an aspiring journalist elopes from her own marriage and ends up in the hut of a cute boy Rishabh Kundra. He, unlike his appearance, happens to be the heir of the biggest Iron and Steels Empire in India, Kundra Iron and Steels. Ltd. Madhu is smitten by his uncanny looks yet his humbleness. She falls in love with this strikingly handsome human being but is not able to confess her feelings to him.
6 years later,Madhubala is a senior editor in Brisbane Weekly. She narrates her love story to her best friend and co-editor Maria (Ri) who finds it extremely fantasizing. Ri even pokes her to go and meet RK's brother Virat who is settled in the same town. Madhu expresses her disapproval for the idea yet she makes a call to the Kundra Office to allocate a time for an interview. She is shocked to know that Rishabh Kundra has taken over the Australian Empire. Excitedly, she gets an appointment for her interview.
Contrary to her expectations, RK is a completely changed man. On their first meeting after 6 years, he walks off from the room ignoring her. Madhubala is disgusted with his attitude only to find him looking for ways to correct his mistakes. He is a closed person who doesn't speak at all. YET he is always ready to give Madhu his precious time. Madhu is hell bent on trying to get to know about his whereabouts in the past 6 years.
Some days later, she comes to know of a bitter truth about him. The truth which changed RK. It revolves around his first marriage to a girl named Anjali who accused him of domestic violence and rape. RK is devastated by these accusations and becomes a reserved guy. Presently, Radha hooks Madhu to marry RK and after formal talks between their parents, Madhu and RK have a court marriage. Madhu however decides to stay in her own apartment till RK and her are more comfortable about opening their relationship to the world.
In their married life, they have arguments and fights mainly because RK is too caring for her. He makes sure she stays happy and safe.
Now, he is leaving for Toronto for 10-days. Yet, he's worried about Madhu's safety as he thinks she is very clumsy.

I could see her from across the window panes of the airport. She was waving to me and smiling. My hand automatically went up and I waved her back. I knew it gave her so much happiness. That girl, she was the reason I was smiling today and I could never thank her much.
She came to me even though she knew I would never be able to give her what she deserves. I turned around and moved inside the airport. A part of my heart wanted to run back to her.

...I anxiously waited for the day I would come back and see her smiling to me...

Congratulations for new thread dear👏

Coming to the preview loved it already and waiting for the update eagerly.

Now I think rk also trusts madhu but he is a little hesitant to tell it and I know that madhu still loves rk crazily . Also waiting for the romance to bloom between them.
