I realised I really missed Zoya Akhtar: Katrina

Three years ago, they teamed up for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). Now, for a few days, rumours have been rife that Katrina Kaif and Zoya Akhtar are set to come together again for the director's forthcoming film called Road, which also apparently stars Hrithik Roshan. However, Katrina denies the news. "As far as I know, Road, Movie (2009) is a film that has already come out, and it was directed by Dev Benegal. I don't know about any other movie called Road," says Katrina.
Ask her if she's in touch with Zoya for any other film, and she says, "Right now, she is completing her next one. I am in touch with her, but I have no idea what her new project after that is going to be," says the actor, adding that she shares a special equation with Zoya. "I met Zoya recently, and spoke to her after a really long time. I remember how fond I was of her. She is a lovely person and someone who I had a genuine and deep connection with. She was someone I could talk to, and not just in a casual or flippant manner; we would have constructive conversations. When I saw her at Karan's (Johar) house recently, after such a long time, I realised I really missed her," says Katrina.
