B-town ladies celebrate Karva Chauth in a big way. Be it Aishwarya Rai, Shilpa Shetty or Sridevi -- all the ladies fast and observe Karva Chauth praying for longevity of their husband's life. This year, the cool and liberal-minded Kareena Kapoor also celebrated the festival.

Dressed to the nines in a citric green anarkali by Karishma Trehan for the festival, Kareena Kapoor made a pretty picture. The actress even went for a bindi to complement her ethnic attire. Seeing Bebo in traditional wear is always a delight. A friend of hers clicked a picture from the night and posted it.

Did Kareena Kapoor observe fast on Karva Chauth because last year she clearly said that she doesn't believe in starving to prove her love? "I don't need to starve to prove my love. I am not going to fast. I am a Kapoor. I can't live without food. I would celebrate it by eating, working, by promoting my film," Kareena, who got married to Saif Ali Khan in the year 2012, had said in an interview last year.

Meanwhile, the actress and her husband Saif Ali Khan can't wait to ring in their third anniversary on October 16 at their palace in Pataudi. The couple will reportedly celebrate their special day at the actor's ancestral home, the Pataudi Palace, which was also the venue of their big fat wedding reception.

The palace has gone through renovation, and according to Saif there is something spiritual about the place now.
