I have read some of your other posts, & I understand the point you are trying to make, but for me & few others, its a sorry state that we still live in country where double standards exist, & till those standards exist, we do need to favour the girl/women just a little bit more to balance the scales.

Having said that I'm in no way denying what Minisha said about Arya was wrong & he has every right to be upset about it. It's just that in the outside world he wont have to face as many consequences as she will - & no I dont think being in the film industry immunises them. Even if you believe that certain parts of the film industry are progressive & dont look down at dating, actors & actresses have to worry about their image with the larger audiences - the aam janta.

Trust me, I hope I live to see the day these double standards cease to exist in our society & I will proudly come to the defense of any guy as much as that of a woman. Sadly right now men dont need that kind of support since they can get away with anything (even criminal offences - which is not the case here, but just saying), while women will always be blamed even if they arent at fault (again may not be applicable in this case)

Didn't Arya actually say I checked with Minissha to take her permission if she was ok to hug on tv. Doesn't necessarily mean he meant romantic angle but be was annoyed and shocked at her bec she probably twisted it slightly to make it sound different. Yday when salman asked minissha she said same but she didn't mention word romance whereas with Deepshikha she mentioned differently.

so many contestant come and will come in show, do they ask prior that can they hug or touch??? what is the need??? Now Arya know karishma's bf, do u think he wud have taken such permission from him too? This is a show, n o place for holding hand and being touchy. ironically few contestants used it to stay in show, and after coming out of the show,one divorced, others parted.

He said I asked her that and she said no it's not ok. Now that discussion was finished before show started. But ever since show started we've never seen Arya touching Minissha even once right. Which means he respected her decision.

So what to u want we salute him or sing song in praise of Arya dat he didn't touch Minisha.

Then where on earth was the need for that lady to mention it to Deepshikha. I can understand if Arya tried it with her inspite of her refusing she has right to reveal but why now when he's staying miles away from her?

Need is simple, in previous episode Arya got hurt with thali ka baingan he spilled some beans in front of Karishma, same way Minisha might have got hurt with Arya and she wud have done it. Dont forget we dont get to see each and every happening of house.

If everyone is blaming Arya for only suggesting and not acting that way what about Gautam Diandra and all the blah blah contestants who actually do it on the show to get footage? Are they all very decent and chivalrous?

When Gautam and Diandra episode was going on, neither housemates nor forum members were loving it. Gautam was treated like some laughing stock before.

You are simply ignoring a fact he suggested, u r open to ignore that but adamant to forgive Minisha spilled beans before, which was nothing but reality which came out.

We should thank Minisha , we got to know it otherwise what bb contestant serve us, and we feel we are getting masala from the house is all scripted by their own mind. Which thankfully came out.

This is just a show where people forget the previous fight when a new fight starts. You are mixing societal issues with a fight between two individuals.

How do u think this Ex BF_GF issue is going to affect Minnisha? Ok let me give you options?

1) No one will come forward to marry Minnisha?

2) Minnisha will be shunned by society and spend the rest of her life crying?

3) She will lose her film offers and her career will be ruined as its immoral to have a broken relationship?

YES you are right boys and girls are treated indifferently. There are double standards that girls face on a daily basis across the social spectrum.

If this had happened to a middle class girl on national TV it is a different case altogether as we know most discrimination happens in rural india and urban middle class. Do you think MInnisha herself or her family, friends or even strangers will be bothered about this issue coming to light.

We are looking at things through a magnifying glass.
