Title: Suljhi hui Shatrani & Ajabdeh ka Mubola Bhai
we get a flashback of US coming to Ajabdeh's father's funeral and is taunted by Hansabai (Ajabdeh's mom)- she was right, she for many years could never say what was in her heart! She was always silenced by her husband that she didnt know anything. HB is very emotional in nature and once her husband was no longer alive all of that emotion came out at the one person she held responsible for her troubles= US, well I agree too because if US had thought with his brain and not his butt he would realise that Ajabdeh could never be the reason to send JB away!
In Bijolia - the people are angry with the attacks by afghans! They all raised valid points, Pratap never came to get her as per the gauna ritual! But the fiercely loyal Ajabdeh wouldnt hear any of it! I loved how HB supported her daughter! Ajabdeh talks sense into the people when they say they want to become independent of Mewar and look for another powerful kingdom to join! well Ajabdeh was right to say that the new kingdom would take advantage of them. And just leaving the country that they had been a part of for years just like that doesnt make any sense. If no one listens to your letters, you go there, and thats what Ajabdeh decided!
Suljhi hui Shatrani!- that was the name HB (hansabai) gave to Ajabdeh, and she is right, because after living alone for years, the women have banded together under the leader ship of Ajabdeh to run Bijolia!
Bhikhre hue moti- I dont know what kind of trick Pratap was trying to do by getting all the moti in one spot! Its not just moti, its symbolic of a broken family, the one common thread that bound those moti - JB and Ajabdeh are not there, so obviously the mala can not be made like that. The mala is made with love! Pratap may have gotten all the moti in one spot but they are all apart, not united, what good does that do? its also symbolic of all the rebel movements against the mughals, they were all independent movements, no one thought to unite, or their ego got in the way! But Pratap is the common factor in uniting that movement! And so the moti represents his broken up family and also all the rebel movements that are not united!
Patta- Mu bola Bhai- a brother is the one that protects his sister- This new brother Ajabdeh has will play a key role and getting praja together! He has the valour that can stand up to Pratap and thats what it will take! here I am getting a feeling that no one cares about bijolia because they are a small part of the kingdom, but only when you make some noise, do the bosses wake up and see and hear you! But this new guy looks very promising! Patta is ruthless and when it comes to enemies thats what you need to do, you cant be forgiving all the time!
Precap- Patta agrees to go to Mewad, lets see what happens!
Today was slow, the story didnt move much, but a new character, Patta is here to tip the balance in the favour of Ajabdeh! SM has till monday, if he improves a little on monday, then i may just let him live! 😆
** Note: After mewad raj gharana left for udaipur- Jaimal and Patta, two brave army chieftains of Mewar, were left behind to defend the fort along with 8,000 Rajput warriors under their command. Akbar laid siege to the fortress. The Rajput army fought valiantly and Akbar himself had narrowly escaped death. In this grave situation, Akbar had prayed for divine help for achieving victory and vowed to visit the shrine of the sufi saint Khwaja at Ajmer. On that day Jaimal was seriously wounded but he continued to fight with support from Patta. Jaimal ordered jauhar to be performed where princes and princesses of Mewar and noble matrons committed self-immolation at the funeral pyre. Next day the gates of the fort were opened and Rajput soldiers charged out bravely to fight the enemies. Jaimal and Patta, who fought bravely, were at last killed in action. Soon, the Mughal armies came to face a new threat in Maharana Pratap, the king of Mewar.
