October 8th Written Update
The episode starts with Vikram coming home. He lives with his Nani. There is a cute nok jhok scene between them where they talk about his hair and her craze for food. This makes Vikram insecure because he's scared about hair loss, and uses the monkey cap to prevent it. His Nani teases him about it and scares him saying that he'll go bald like his Nana ji and starts suggesting some ways to take precaution.
Nani's watching the news and the main headlines are about Samarth's case. Nani feels bad for the family while Vikram jokes that the wife probably drove Samarth to cheat with her constant nagging and partying lifestyle. Nani tells him not to judge others without knowing them, but Vikram continues to say that the wife is probably sleeping peacefully now after taking sleeping pills.
Shobha is waiting for her friend, Usha, and her friend's husband AK, who is also the police commissioner. She cries for help saying that Samarth is innocent however Usha advises her to stop trusting Samarth. She claims that Samarth has been sleeping around and he is not innocent. Shobha is upset and asks Usha not to say like that, but Usha continues to taunt Samarth. She asks Shobha to wake up and start to realize the truth in front of her. She tells her to stop believing like an ordinary wife who believes everything her husband says and does all these rituals even when she's being ill treated. Usha advises Shobha not to waste her life, and that she understands her reaction. She says that there will be denial and anger at first, but one day her life will change and she'll learn to accept it and finally move on. She would be able to free herself from Samarth. She tells her that there's no point in saving this marriage when Shobha's the only one willing to do all the work. However Shobha's still in denial and asks AK for help. AK says that it is hard considered no one is willing to testify and that Samarth has no support even from his own party. He says that Samarth will get bail, but doesn't know when that'll happen.
Shobha goes home and sees that her kids are worried about Samarth. She consoles them and diverts the topic by starting a pillow fight and cuddles with them. The next day her mother calls to meet her, but Shobha tells her that they'll meet at the coffee shop as there are media people waiting outside the house.
Vikeam asks his secretary to find the phone number who took his book by mistake. His new secretary, Tina, is clumsy and this irritates Vikram who ends up calling her a fatso. Tina starts to cry because he called her fat and this annoys Vikram even further. He ends up firing her.
Shobha meets her mother at the coffee shop who advises her not to ask Samarth any questions about the incident. Despite her mother's disapproval, Shobha still wants to know the truth. Her mother is worried that this will affect Shobha's marriage and she should learn to adjust as phases like these are part of a women's life. Shobha calms her down and goes to get food.
Vikram's also at the coffee shop talking to his friend about the secretary. He says that people cannot accept the truth and are running away from it. He declares he hates such people because they are willing to believe the devil and not the truth. If his secretary was scared of the truth of being fat, then she shouldn't step out of her house. Instead, she should accept the truth and get over it. Or else, she'll continue to be fooled by others. Shobha, who overhears Vikram's conversation, gets inspired and decides to find out the truth.
On her way to the police stations, the media tries to intervene and ask her questions. However, Abhijeet takes her away from there. She meets Samarth, who doesn't seem too happy to see her and he gets annoyed when Shobha mentions that the media tried asking her questions. For that, Samarth tells her he kept her away from media for all these years so that she doesn't mess things up. He tells her to not create more problems for him and to not come and visit him there.
Shobha is taken aback and leaves, but she realizes that she forgot to give Samarth the clothes she had brought for him. The constable suggests she uses the back door to give the clothes to Samarth. When Shobha gets to Samarth, she overhears Samarth and Abhi talking about Samarth's affairs, and how Abhi knew about his affairs all this time. He states that he knew the girl for 1.5 years and had even gone on many dates and vacations with her, but she had outsmarted him. Samarth orders Abhi to pay the girl to withdraw the case. Shobha is stunned and walks away.
Vikram is on his way to drop Nani to a brigade party. Shobha is also driving back in the same direction and stops the car in the middle. She starts crying. Eventually she calms down and tries to drive again when she unknowingly hits Vikram's car. But she doesn't realize is and drives away. Vikram is annoyed and takes pictures of Shobha's car's number plate and swears that he'll catch her one day.
PRECAP - Shobha confronts Abhi and says that she was a fool to not realize the true colours of Samarth and Abhi before.
