Deshmukh House

The family is in the main room. Manav says Pari I don't have that much time, tell me what did you do with that child! Where did you leave her?! Pari is crying and says I'm sorry ajoba, I could not tolerate that Naren and Ankita had a child. When I found out that Ashi is Ankita's daughter then I got really scared, I thought Ashi would bring Ankita and Naren close and then my fear would come true. Pari recalls when Ankita was dancing with Ashi and Naren was there. Pari says I didn't understand, I thought I would lose Naren, that's why I took Ashi to the market and then. Pari tells them about when she was asking the kidnapping couple if they applied to adopt a child, the kidnapper had said yes and Pari told them she can give them a child, a 5 year old girl and you will also get money for taking care of her. Pari sad don't worry, I will handle everything. The man had told Pari we had been thinking so much to adopt a child, if you help us in giving us a child then our family will be complete. Pari told them that Ashi is in that store, go to her and take her. Tell her that you are her relatives and here is some money and you will get more money after your work is complete.(End of flashback)Archana slaps Pari and says you are a dent to womanhood, understand? Look at Ankita and yourself, you left your child?! Don't you have any humanity?! What revenge are you taking from her?! Manav says Pari, you fell this low, you lost your little child, for what? Why?! Only because you were afraid to lose Naren? Why were you afraid, what fear?!

Deshmukh House

Manav tells Pari that Ankita was not going to snatch Naren from you, and says Naren is yours. Manav says how can you be so selfish Pari? You did this to a little child, you didn't think once, before doing this to her you didn't think once about her? The child does not know her real parents, she didn't the love from them! She doesn't even know who her real parents are! And when she was going to know who her real parents were you. I am ashamed to call you my granddaughter, you are not even worth being my granddaughter! If Arjun and Purvi were here today than they would die of shame looking at you! Kinnari says Pari, due to your deeds today you have fell from everyone's eyes. Nina says every one is selfish sometimes, but to do this with a young child? Bappa will never forgive you. Rushali says Pari look if you want to survive and want to keep being Naren's wife then pray to God for Ashi to be found.

At the mandir/A shelter

Ankita goes inside a temple, she goes to Devi Ma and thinks, Devi Ma, Navrati has started, today is Ashtami, it's said Devi Ma gives you whatever you pray for on this day, just give me Ashi, Ma. I don't know why, I feel like I have a relation with her. Wherever she is, I hope she's fine and she's found. The couple are with Ashi in a shelter. The kidnapper says to his wife why are we here? The police is looking for us and this place is very close to the station, we will have to sneak outside quietly and go to the station at the right time and then leave the city. Ankita is in the mandir praying, she says to the people in the mandir I want to say something to you guys. I have a 5 year old daughter, her name is Arushi Karmarkar. Some people kidnapped her, someone told me that the kidnappers took her to the station near you but I couldn't see them. When I was coming I heard a noise and came here, my daughter. Ankita takes out a photo of Ashi and shows it to everyone and says her name is Arushi, please tell me if you've seen her, it will be a big help to me. The couple hears this from nearby and looks tense. Ankita keeps asking the people, they haven't seen Ashi. Ankita says if you find her anywhere please. The kidnapper says to his wife, a lady has come, it looks like she's asking about this girl.

At the mandir

The lady says it looks like her mother has come, we will have to leave quietly or else we'll get caught. The kidnaper gets out from the room inside the hall where everyone is, his wife is following him and carrying Ashi and hiding her. Ankita is praying and doesn't see them. The kidnapper and his wife keep walking past, one of the men in the hall says to the wife, behen ji, your daughter's toy dropped. Ankita looks back and stops the kidnapper's wife. Ankita says one second, one second! Show me her face. Ankita gets Ashi in her lap and says Ashi?! Ankia says leave her! Where were you taking her? I knew someone here kidnapped her, you guys kidnapped her! The wife says let her go, she is our daughter! Let her go! The kidnapper says why are you calling our daughter yours? She is not your Ashi, she is our Jhumri! Ankita says Jhumri? The wife says ask the child. Ashi wakes up from their argument, Ankita says Ashi tell me who is your mama, who is your mama? Ashi looks at the wife and says mama. The wife says see? She is calling me mama! Ankita says let her go! What did you do to my daughter? Let her go, she is my daughter! Ankita doesn't let them take Ashi, one of the ladies says to Ankita to let Ashi go as she is their daughter. Ankita says what has happened to you, here is the photo of my daughter. Why would I lie?!

At the kidnapper's chawl/At the mandir

Naren comes inside the kidnapper's chawl, it is dark in there. Naren says this was the place she told me, where did they all go? Naren calls the police station. Ankita asks the couple what proof do you have that she is your daughter? The wife says proof?! There is so much proof and the biggest proof is that this child is saying herself that I am her mother! And you want proof from me?! Ankita says whatever is happening. The wife says what is your proof that this is your child?! Naren comes there with the police inspectors and says a mother doesn't have to give proof. Ankita tells Naren that these are the people who kidnapped her. The police inspectors tell the kidnappers to come with them, the police inspectors make everyone leave the mandir. Everyone leaves, Ankita says to Naren, now your Ashi is completely fine. Let's go and tell everyone at home. Naren holds Ankita's hand and says one minute Ankita. There is a truth that is very important for you to know in front of Mata. Ashi is not only mine, she is our daughter. Yes Ankita, you gave birth to her, she is our daughter. This truth was hidden from you for so many years, your child was not born as dead. The doctors lied and hid this truth and my mom did all this. Naren says due to my mom you were away from your daughter for so many years, and she couldn't get her mother's love and you didn't get your child.

At the mandir

Ankita is crying and Naren says I can't forgive mom for her mistake, now no one can separate her from you. Ankita says she is our baby Naren sir, I thought she had left me but no. The police inspector comes there and says Mr. Naren, our investigations are going on, you will have to come with us to the police station for some formalities. Please sir, come. The police inspector and Naren leave. Ankita holds Ashi and is crying, she remembers the first time she saw Ashi in Banaras asking where her dada was. Ankita remembers Ashi walking on the road and stopping a person on a bike for almost bumping into Ashi. Ankita gets emotional remembering this and hugs Ashi tightly, Ankita recalls when Ashi asked her why she can't call her choti ma. Ankita had asked her who told you that you can't call me choti ma? Ashi told her my mama. Ankita told her it's ok, my Arushi can of course call me choti ma. Ankita remembers all the moments she spent with Ashi, Ankita says Ashi look it's mama. Ankita cries and hugs her.

At the police station

The Deshmukh family, and the kidnappers are at the police station. The police inspector says Manav ji I called your family here purposely because these people say that the woman who gave them the child is related to the child. The police inspector says to the kidnapper firmly, come on tell us which one is the lady who gave you the child, come on speak up! And if you put any false accusations then I will teach you a good lesson that you will remember for life. You know what you did, you took a child, scared her and threatened her, you have a kidnapping case. You will go in jail, for a long time. Come on speak up, speak up! The kidnapper points to Pari. Naren looks shocked, Manav says yes she did it, because Pari knew that Ashi is Naren and your daughter. Naren says what? The police inspector says Manav ji what do you want to do? Basically this is your family matter, do you want to make her understand or something else? Naren says we don't want to do anything. This is our family matter, we will take care of it at home. The police inspector says ok take your charges back, we will let her go. Naren says ok can we go? The police inspector says yes you can go. Naren says Pari I will give you a punishment which the law would not think of giving you, Naren leaves.

Deshmukh House in the bedroom

Naren and Ashi are in their bedroom. Ashi is asleep, Naren is recalling Rushali telling him that Ashi was his and Ankita's daughter. Naren thinks to himself, Ashi is my daughter, my real daughter. Knowing this doesn't matter to me because I have always loved you like my real daughter but after knowing this I have some different happiness, now I can say proudly that you are my daughter, my Ashi. How can my mom hide such a big thing from me? She kept you away from your mother, for so many years when she is a mother herself. How can a mother do this to another mother? I don't understand, one way my mom cheated me and the other way Pari. Naren remembers when the kidnappers were pointing at Pari in the police station. Naren thinks, Pari you gave your daughter to someone else, you could never be a good wife and you lost the opportunity to become a good mother. What did this child ruin of yours? Why did you punish her so much? You knew, Ashi is so important to me, I love her so much and you still? You cheated me Pari, what was wrong with my love?

Deshmukh House in the bedroom

Naren remembers when Pari was scolding Ashi not to touch her things and she was telling Naren to make her understand instead of laughing and she told Ashi she's warning her if she touches any more of her things then you see. Naren recalls Pari telling him that she knows they adopted this child and we're giving her what she needs but why are you forcing me? Naren said please Pari, Pari said it was not my decision to adopt her and I don't know why I can't become her mother, I just don't feel connected with her! Naren thinks to himself, the husband in me will forgive you but the father inside me will never forgive you. Naren has Ashi lie down, he kisses Ashi and takes out his suitcase and starts packing his clothes. Naren is packing and he recalls Pari saying to him that Ashi is not my daughter, or yours. Ashi is someone else's daughter! It's ok to sympathy for her, it's good but to make her your life is madness which I can't do. I am not Ashi's mom and neither are you her father.

Deshmukh House

Ankita, Manav, Teju, Kinnari, Pari and Rushali are in the main room. Ankita says ajoba, ajoba my child is alive. My daughter Ashi is alive. Manav says yes dear, your child is alive. Bappa can never do injustice to you, that's why He united you with your child. Ankita says yes ajoba, ajoba but for so many days I felt I had no child but ajoba, Ashi was with me for so much time, how could I not recognize her ajoba? She was my daughter, how could I not recognize that she was my daughter? Manav says you did realize Ankita, that's why you were so attached to Ashi. Manav looks at Rushali and says some people just hid the truth from you and that's why you couldn't call your daughter as your daughter. Ankita says what rivalry do you have with me Rushali ji? What is your problem? When I married Naren, you gave it the name of sacrifice, when we loved each other then you gave it the name of my selfishness, I tolerated everything and didn't say anything. But my daughter, you kept my daughter away from me for so many years? What kind of a woman are you?! Don't you have any shame?! You know what a big injustice you did with me? You didn't accept me as your daughter in law or as Naren's wife, I didn't say anything and stayed quiet. But today you gave a mother pain, you kept my daughter away from me. 5 years, 5 years is a lot Rushali ji, it's a long time. I saw so many dreams with my daughter, when I was pregnant I spent my life with her, I shared everything with her. But you snatched her from me, you snatched my support to live. What kind of woman are you?

Ankita says you were doing all this for your son, for Naren? You thought he would be so happy? You did it for his happiness but ask Naren if he really is happy in his life? How can anyone be happy? When a mother is like that, you did not feel once Rushali ji, you took such a small baby and with the doctor's help you had him say that my baby was a stillborn? A good woman can never do this, I never knew you could stoop so low but you snatched someone's child Rushali ji, ask me how did I live my 5 years. Ask me how I felt when I found out that I had to live without my baby, when I found out that my baby was a stillborn! Think once how I felt! I've never seen a woman like you Rushali ji!

Precap: The family is in the main room of the Deshmukh House. Naren says to Manav, ajoba, Pari has kept making mistakes on top of mistakes and I kept forgiving her, I put a curtain over all her mistakes. Maybe this was my fault, if I had stopped her before then things wouldn't have been this bad but I don't have a choice. I am going away from her life and this house. Please, no one stop me. Pari looks sad and is crying, Rushali looks upset.
