Also - one of the brothers (I forget is its Jatin or Lalit) gives 6 points and says "I knew other judges will give hign points so he/she will make to next round, but I did not like this performance". Then why can't Alkaji do that.

It's a male notion that women are jealous of other women's talent. Women are no different - if you can accuse Abhijeet of being jealous of male singers then you can accuse Alka ji of the same. Otherwise its just plain sexist. Think folks Alka has been singing in the industry for 27 years!!!! She would be insecure - WHY?

I heard in the news that Ismail Darbar accused Asha Bhonsle ji of being jealous of female singers. Ludicrous, just plain insane!

Our judeges need to stop disrespecting each other first only then can they respect music.

first of all i have already proved that 27 years of career does nt relieve alka from jealousy.... she has the history of jealousy against the finds of talent hunts like sunidhi chauhan and shreya ghoshal..... in fact she has jealousy of contempararies like kavitha krishnamurthy, who was always with her in the race of awards... her jealousy was clearly evident from her statement this year in awards show.... beedi jalaile may not be melodious track but it was difficult to sing and there is no question why as a singer it should nt get award...... I agree if its best lyricist then it wont win award, but for a singer it was a tough song sung well.... so u cant really say that she is not jealous of upcoming singers from talent hunt... once she used to have 3-4 nominations from 5 for awards and now she has barely 1.....

whats male notion..... everyone agrees that except jatin lalit all are jealous people on the judges panel... so where this male female categories came from.... infact we are saying 2 males are jealous while one woman is....

second.... Ismail did nt say Ashaji is jealous of anyone, he said that singers can not judge other singers, and hence should not be on mahaguru seat.... and all people said that he was wrong... because ashaji has been best judge....😃

third... we agree that the pouring points is not correct.... but priyani was better than others..... for a layman in music who does nt much know of surs.... she was way better than others in the group and she deserved more points than other contestants..... if other contestants got an 8 or 9 then yes she deserved a 10.... if u go by music then noone deserves high marks so early because all are making many mistakes.... Aabhas looks flawless but i m sure he must have made mistake too.... if others got 6 or 7 i would say that 9 or 10 for priyani is unfair.... otherwise not....

Good point. I don't think she was the worst.
But I don't know if the judges are comparing performances when they give out the scores. Actually, its not possible cos if someone goes first, there is no other singer to compare against.

About Abhijeet, he generally likes giving out 10s. 😆 He gave a 10 (or was it two 10s?) to Sumitra's Mast and Aao na songs, Irfan's Aye zindagi, Priyani's beeti na bitai (some are questionable 10s)

What is wrong is that comparisons usually start as a natural discussion as you say, but almost everytime end up being sour and hurting fans of respective shows... That is the logic behind the rule... And just to quote some posts in this thread as far as "foul" or degrading language is concerned:

SRGMP finalists are so disgusting except for a few that SVOI is like a breath of fresh air..
